Obama's 'magical' place for tourism announcement

(CNN) – What better place to talk about the increasing tourism in the United States than on Walt Disney World’s Main Street USA?

With Cinderella’s castle as a backdrop, President Barack Obama announced a new strategy to increase tourism to the United States. Hoping it will bring much-needed money and jobs; the president’s plan is set to make it easier for travelers from emerging countries to visit the many iconic sites across the US.

Oh, yay...more low paying jobs without benefits. Most of the people in the tourism/service industries can't afford to go to Disney. If I were from an 'emerging nation', I'd think twice about coming to the USA. With the Patriot Act and provisions in the NDAA, I'd fear being accused of terrorism (or support of terrorism) and disappearing into a black hole.

Our pres. continues to improve our country in every way possible. Proud he didn't allow the pipeline. Wouldn't want it running through my property either. Hope he continues to stand strong against the Reps. MAYBE they will realize he isn't going to back down anymore.

    Hey Ed 1,
You could have left the racial comments out of your pointless comment!! Just look at the republicans running against Obama!! I am sure that in November the kool aid sipping and pipe strikers will clear their schedules to go and punch that straight democratic ticket selector. Just like you and the entire republican party you are confused and believe whatever you hear on Fox News. Talk facts bussy and before you do that check your facts. None of the republican candidates can relate to a voter or person like me!! I am an educated middle class man!! Romney waged a bet that was more than some Iowans yearly income. Newst isa christian conservative but cheated on his wife and left one after she was diagnosed with cancer. You all have nothing to offer Americans and they are only concerned about there rich cronnies. I am sure you are upset about the Keystone pipline as well? Obama Biden 2012!!!! Get over it the kool aid sippers and crack smokers will turnout again!! GOBAMA

Meanwhile, his appearance caused Disney to close a portion of the park to paying customers.

Location choice had nothing to do with the fact that Florida is the next GOP battleground and a state imperative to Obama's re-election? Come on,who you trying to kid.Maybe, just maybe,it would have been futile to make this proclamation in front of the original castle in California,he's pretty much got that state in his hip pocket.Although being in Florida and close to the GOP shenanigans, maybe he can convince four of Snow White's seven dwarfs to fill in for the GOP candidates.Let's see,you could get Goofy,Sleepy,Dopey and Grumpy, that would pretty much fill the bill.

LMMFAO!!! We're now a nation of lazy, overweight slobs, and because we no longer produce half of what we used to, we're going to lean on tourism as a means of income.

I find it really funny that his first campaign ad released today already has 4 fact check Pinocchio's. Perfect!!!!
Obama does nothing that is not engineered to benefit his image and re-election.
Improving tourism is a good thing. So good in fact he should have done it 3 years ago. Why today in Florida at Disney World? Because it puts him out in front of the press in a good light right before the Republican primary in Florida. Forget about that is could have been creating more jobs starting 3 years ago

One drawback on sending this message to potential tourists from China, there will be a whole lot of them that can't get on most of the rides at Disneyland.

Look at it this way. It means that many more people who are not on public assistance. Unfortunately, the well paying middle class manufacturing jobs were systematically shipped out of this country over the past decade. One would think that you would be outraged because of the tax loophole that encourages it. It works like this.

A corporation pays taxes of some sort on a manufacturing plant in this country. The allegation is that taxes are lower in foreign countries, which is true because tax loopholes make sure that is the case. A corporation must pay some sort of taxes on a manufacturing plant on foreign soil, too. But. A tax loophole allows corporation to deduct those foreign tax obligations from the US taxes IN FULL. Your tax money is used to pay the foreign taxes for corporations. Did you know that?

You are right MIKE. Obama never does anything without a ulterior motive to benefit himself. His followers says that
he haven't campaign yet. But he just sly enough to fool people into making his visit a "job" speech and yet make himself look as good as possible with lies for re-election.
