Romney vs. Gingrich on the economy

New York (CNNMoney) - Newt Gingrich is the latest Republican candidate to challenge the conventional wisdom that Mitt Romney is destined to capture his party's nomination.

Gingrich just delivered a wallop to Romney in the South Carolina primary, and the gap between the candidates has narrowed so severely in recent days that the two are virtually tied nationwide, according to Gallup's latest national tracking poll.

    The GOP killed our economy in the first place. These guys don't get a say-so in anything economical.

    I thought Romney knew how the economy works? He would "blow a hole in the federal budget"!

    Neither one of these guys should have the keys to the White House.

    Trickle-down economics is the basis of all Republican economic policy. It has never worked. It does keep the rich folks rich and the Republicans flush with cash during campaign time.
