I want to know the actual amount Romney actually paid last year and not his income
tax bracket.

He didn't make the tax laws - he and his buddies just benefited from them.
It's time to level the playing field. If he wants his MONEY in the Cayman's, maybe that's where his houses and family should be also. That sounds fair.

Romney is just horrible. Easily the most repulsive person to ever run for president. A corporste raider that made his fortune on the backs of those that actually work for a living.

You hear very little of it now but never forget that a basic tenet of Republican tax doctrine is to eventually do away with two basic types of taxes completely. First is the estate tax which basically today means that if you have an estate valued over several million you would pay a tax on that excess. Also, and more importantly is they have long wanted to see the capital gains tax eliminated totally. Imagine the effective tax rate Romney would have had on his 43 million dollar income if there were no capital gains tax, nearly ZERO.
We need term limits and we need to get the money out of politics, especially the super pacs and all outside money. The wealthy politicians will never equalize the tax structure of the US, that would be against their best interests.

If Romney would have let this out last year – it would be a null issue now. Most Americans have short term memory syndrome and it would not matter!!!
Obama 2012!!

It was an issue only as long as he refused to release them. If Mitt is nominee you'll hear a lot more about it from the Democrats.

If you don't like the law work to change it.
