Washington (CNN) - Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi Thursday dismissed the idea she knows something secret about former House Speaker Newt Gingrich that would disqualify him from being president, saying it's just her "instinct" - based on the public record.
Pelosi ruled out Gingrich's chances of becoming the GOP nominee Tuesday when she told CNN Chief National Correspondent John King, "He's not going to be President of the United States. That's not going to happen."

FULL STORYTallahassee, Florida (CNN) - A day after Newt Gingrich vowed to build a base on the moon by the end of his second term in office, Rick Santorum suggested that such a promise was merely pandering to Florida voters.
"The idea that anybody's going out and talking about brand new, very expensive schemes to spend more money at a time when we do not have our fiscal house in order in my opinion is playing crass politics and not being realistic with the people of this country as to the nature and gravity of the problem," Santorum said Thursday.

Tallahassee, Florida (CNN) - Rick Santorum guaranteed that he was committed to his presidential campaign Thursday, stating he knows the origin of rumors to the contrary.
"I know where they're coming from, they're coming from the other camps," Santorum told reporters after a town hall at Florida State University. "I get that. I don't think you've heard me say anything other than what I've said. I guarantee you. I guarantee you we're going to be in this race for a long time."
