VIDEO: Kelly won't run for Giffords' House seat

(CNN) - Mark Kelly, Gabrielle Giffords' husband, said in an interview aired Friday he will not run for his wife's Congressional seat, following her emotional resignation from the U.S. House of Representatives this week.

"My job right now is to make sure Gabby has everything she needs," Kelly said on CNN's "Starting Point with Soledad O'Brien."

Gabby was and is a beacon of light in Washington DC. Her intense, always fair work for the people sets such a good example. It is a shame that so many representatives, clap their hands, but do not understand what Gabby’s work was all about. I wish her all the happiness in the world and lots of tanks for her work for us!
