Romney faces Medicare attacks in Florida
(CNN) - GOP presidential front-runners Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich barnstormed across Florida on Friday, trying to rally supporters and break away in the polls four days before what is shaking up to be a pivotal primary in that state.
The morning after a heated CNN/Florida Republican Party debate in Jacksonville, a pro-Gingrich super PAC hit the airwaves with a television ad essentially accusing Romney of committing Medicare fraud. One of Gingrich's top Florida backers, former state Attorney General Bill McCollum, also raised questions about Romney's past service on the board of Damon Corp., a Massachusetts medical testing company that pleaded guilty in 1996 to billing Medicare fraudulently and that paid a $119 million fine.

The more of these ads Gingrich runs, the more people will abandon him. These are very false and malicious ads. Serving on a Board does NOT mean you were responsible for commiting fraud if some low level employees did something wrong. Directors do NOT, and most times are prohibited, from getting involved in the day to day affairs of running and managing the business.
Obama gave many millions to several bankrupt green companies. Solyndra's bankruptcy may involve fraud or violations of the law. Will Obama take responsibility for THAT???
It is my understanding that this is a straw man argument.
Supposedly, all of the fraud occured AFTER Romney left and Bain had sold the business.

Newt's strategy is simple: If you can't reach 'em, tear 'em down. Pretty pathetic, if you ask me. I saw last night that he can only go so deep in a debate. If his first bite doesn't get you, he's done. Romney looked much better last night and I , for one, am glad there's someone running for President that has actually earned his money. If we can get that incompetent socialist out of the White House, we might can make an economic comeback. Stacking the NLRB with non-confirmed, recess-appointed unionites tells us all we need to know about his understanding of a free market system....................
Did Obama serve on the Board of Directors? Are you such a republican homer/hack that you can not see the flaws in your own candidates? We have not eve discussed Romney epic failure as a governor in regards to the Big Dig project. Wait until that information surfaces.

BTW flip flopper, newterman did say that Spanish is the language of the ghetto (see Daily Show – they seem to come up with really juicy stuff that the media either doesn't report or are scared to report even it it's the truth).
I am sure that not just in Florida but all around the country people who speak Spanish want to hear it again from the mouth of that windbag. nl has put down blacks, spanish speaking people, jews, women, young people and I am pretty sure that before he leaves Florida he is going to tick off (is that better cnn?)the elderly (if I am forgetting that he already did).

Why doesn't someone call Romney on the carpet when he speaks of the fact that he's proud of his record of "creating jobs" while in the private sector at Baine Capital? Baine Capital was NOT established to create JOBS. Baine Capital was established to create WEALTH. Period. Yes, some of their ventures resulted in new companies. But, that is not the reason for Baine's exsistence.
