(CNN) – One of Newt Gingrich’s daughters found no fault with their father not calling Florida GOP primary victor Mitt Romney after his win in the Sunshine State.
“I'm not really sure I would say it's graceless,” Kathy Gingrich Lubbers told CNN’s Piers Morgan on Tuesday. “What it is, is the reality that he's moved on and we're looking forward to the next 46 states.”

(CNN) – The Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation revealed Tuesday it was cutting funds to Planned Parenthood, sparking an outcry from abortion rights advocates blaming “political pressure” and praise from an anti-abortion group.
The major breast cancer research group cut funds to the prominent family planning organization after Planned Parenthood has come under increasing scrutiny from Congress over how it provides abortion services. The Komen Foundation gave few details on the reasons behind the decision, attributing the announcement to "changes in priorities and policies" and the need to "most fully advance [its] mission."

Las Vegas, Nevada (CNN) – Before a rally at his Nevada headquarters Tuesday night, Rick Santorum reacted to the news that Mitt Romney had cruised to victory in the Florida primary just wrapping up across the country.
"I'm not surprised," he said. "We decided obviously that that was a – that's a death match that I didn't want to get involved in, the resources you had to spend to compete there. We decided that this was going to be a long campaign and we were going to get out and run a campaign across this country."

(CNN) – Six groups supporting Democratic candidates announced on Tuesday that their combined 2011 fundraising topped $19 million, according to one of the groups, American Bridge 21st Century.
The amount is significantly less than the $51 million fundraising number reported earlier in the day by American Crossroads and Crossroads GPS, the groups' counterparts supporting Republican candidates.

(CNN) - Mitt Romney will win the Florida primary, CNN projected Tuesday in a result that will cement the front-running status of the former Massachusetts governor for the Republican presidential nomination.
With more than one third of the vote counted, Romney had about 47% of the tally, according to the Florida Department of State Division of Elections. Gingrich had garnered nearly 32%. Former Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania was in third, followed by U.S. Rep. Ron Paul of Texas.

Washington (CNN) - Together American Crossroads and Crossroads GPS raised $51 million in 2011, according to the groups' communications director Jonathan Collegio.
He said American Crossroads the super PAC raised $18.4 million and Crossroads GPS raised $32.6 million. Only the super PAC is required to declare its funding to the Federal Election Commission today.

(CNN) – Newt Gingrich's campaign reported raising nearly $10 million during the final three months of 2011, according to its Federal Election Commission filing released Tuesday.
A spokesman for the candidate also announced on Twitter earlier in the day that the campaign had raised $5 million in January.

Washington (CNN) - The Obama campaign has officially reported to the Federal Election Commission raising $68 million from 583,000 donors in the 4th quarter of 2011, according to an Obama campaign official.
These numbers are consistent with those announce by the campaign in a video released in early January.
