Washington (CNN) - The Obama campaign has officially reported to the Federal Election Commission raising $68 million from 583,000 donors in the 4th quarter of 2011, according to an Obama campaign official.
These numbers are consistent with those announce by the campaign in a video released in early January.

What's new is the list of approximately four hundred big bundlers they published on the Obama campaign website - along with the amounts each raised.
The term bundlers refers to big fundraisers who "bundle" large amounts of donations together.
Some notable names: longtime Democrat and Dreamworks co-founder Jeffrey Katzenberg raised half a million dollars as did Vogue editor Anna Wintour. Ari Emanuel - the Hollywood superagent and brother of the one-time chief-of staff - raised one hundred to two hundred thousand dollars.
The campaign also lists former New Jersey Governor and now disgraced Wall Street executive Jon Corzine as a five hundred thousand dollar bundler. The campaign has already announced returning more than seventy thousand dollars in personal contributions by Corzine and his wife in the wake of the scandal surrounding Corzine's former fund, MF Global. The campaign's full FEC report is still loading online and is expected to show returned contributions.
The Obama campaign is trying to use the announcement of their bundlers to draw a contrast with the Republicans in the race. A campaign aide points out they "voluntarily disclose" their bundlers "unlike the Republican candidates running in 2012."
Campaign spokesman Ben LaBolt doubled down with a tweet saying "President Bush and Senator McCain disclosed their bundlers. President Obama did again today. What are this year's GOP candidates hiding?"
Democratic strategists tell CNN polling has shown that "ethics" and demonstrating that the President has "high ethical standards" scores well among independent voters. The campaign's effort to highlight that it's revealing its donors seems part of their larger message, to sell the President as - in the words of the Obama campaign's first campaign ad of the 2012 cycle - the "most ethical" ever.
A campaign official also says 200,000 of the donors in the 4th quarter are new to the campaign since 2008. The average contribution was $55, and 98% of contributions were $250 or less.

Corruption, meet incompetence, incompetence, meet corruption. It's the Democrat Chicago way...
Don't you just love to see them hide all the BIG MONEY contributions by getting a lot of people to send in $10 and then claim a very small "average contribution". Smoke and mirrors so they can claim they fight for "the middle class". Liars.
Too bad the Kochs, Rove, Mittens, and the swift boating republicans cannot boast of ' high ethical standards.'
NOvember, how much did the Koch heads and their followers bundle? How about the casino magnate that bought Newt a primary? Clean your own house, first.
Wow Nov 2012 is that all you got out of this? that is sad indeed...
Mittens will always be able to brag about his Cayman Island accounts, his Swiss bank accounts, his corporate raiding, his vulture capitalism, his tax evasion, his flip flopping, being a chicken hawk, and all this in the name of republican ethics.
Reading your post just makes me too weary to even both to take the time to come up with a sarcastic remark. Grow up
@November they returned Corzine's money. This is a stark contrast to the Republicans secretive flow of money from the billionaires who are contributing to their campaigns.
too much money in politics...hope and change...oops...that's for the other guy

Mittens will always be able to brag about ... his tax evasion...

Tax evasion refers to illegal activities. You are absolutely wrong to even suggest that.
Truth, ah, Truth, lazy, ammoral conservatives who whine, just like Newt.
High Ethical Standards? So he returned 500K? Nope only 70k. Obama must have read from the Nixon book on High Ethical Standards.
correct it, and hold anyone who caused these responsible...good luck. Stay united.
Bundlers that are lobbyists. Bundlers that don't live in the US (at least 5 by end of 3rd quarter). Bundlers like Corzine (ex Goldman Sachs, CEO of vanishing customer cash MF Global)... 350 some bundlers had brought the campaign at least 55,000,000 by end of the 3rd quarter. I wonder how much of the new 68 million is friends in high places money? I'm not saying the money going to some of the republican campaigns look better, but I really don't know if I'd be bragging.
Mitten is sucking the money from the american society and investing in other countries. Imagine if all the folks who worship the freemarket gods was to do what mitten have been doing for years. America would be a desolate place robbed of her treasures and patriotism, by people like mittens who robs its people and shout out free market.

PLENTY in cash and skeletons, you betcha. Meanwhile their wealthy puppet masters have already siced Governors, and Congressmen upon the courts to redistricting, changing the voting laws, curtailing out-of-state and early voting, and requiring voter ID's.
Their hope is that if the avalanche of lies via Super-Pac ads doesn't net them the desired results, then changing the rules of voting, and even going as far as trying to keep President Obama off the ticket in some states will.
Beware these devils.

Like Staples!?!? Yeah...none of them in America, huh?
On the other hand, Obama throws $30 billion at GM and how does the company thank the American taxpayer? By investing $250 million in a new Technical Development complex in Shanghai. They are aggressively creating thousands of new jobs to double automobile production to 5 million cars a year in 5 years. In China. And every one of them built in China. Your tax dollars hard at work.
Obama 2012
Corzine knows where to buy insurance and Hope and Change is the place. But I do not think our economic genius of a President will be in office when Corzine needs the get out of jail card.
If the GOP gets its way, the United States will become a country run by the rich, for the rich and paid for by the shrinking middle class. If Romney gets in, we will be beholden to Salt Lake City rather than to the Constitution. The Mormons think nothing of changing the rules, if the rules don't suit them. They will even break the law to get what they want.
I hope Bachman's OUT ! but, from what I've heard, her district up there in Minnesota is mostly retired people , in addition to they are all caucasion (or white) people. Someone told me everytime she was interviewed when she was on the campaign trail, there was Never anybody with her, that was NOT white.
Just sayin . . .
Larry in Houston
Let's talk about the Koch Brothers billions, the Adelson's millions buying foreign policy, and Nu Skin pyramid schemer Lund's millions to Romney and Newt.
President Obama has greater ethics in his little finger than the entire Rep. party has in their entire organization!! And if you think he doesn't have small donors-well I'm one-50.00 at a time!!
OBAMA/BIDEN 2012
How long will romney drag this out – kind of like his tax returns. You know where his money is coming from – and I bet he won't be able to boast about the number of individuals making relatively small donations. the financial industry is trying to buy the election for romney.
It takes money, a lot of it, to fight for the middle class.
We're going to make sure that President Obama has plenty of it.
Now go ahead and have your fear, hatred, and/or jealousy-induced apoplectic fit folks.
Obama 2012.
