Bachmann says she will not endorse soon

(CNN) – Michele Bachmann, the Minnesota congresswoman who last month suspended her presidential campaign, said Wednesday that she does not plan to endorse in the GOP presidential race before her state's primary next Tuesday.

"Well, I haven't made a decision about endorsements yet, I reserve the right to make an endorsement, I may before the process is all concluded, but I am nowhere near right now," Bachmann said on CNN's "Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer."

She pushed back against a report in The Boston Globe that aides to Bachmann, and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney were negotiating a possible endorsement from her. Romney campaigned in Minnesota Wednesday morning, while Bachmann was in Washington.

"People were putting out rumors that I was going to be endorsing. I am not," she said, though she left the door open for an endorsement in the future.

Bachmann's spokesperson said last week that the three-term congresswoman would be seeking reelection to Congress, though the precise area she represents may change, as Minnesota is currently redistricting.

Her state's primary will be held on Feb. 7.

Good news everybody: " The number of Republicans in the country inched up half a percentage point in January, while the number of Democrats dipped to the lowest level ever recorded by Rasmussen Reports (32.5%)."

My god who's campaign will she ruin? I'm sure Romney and Gingrich are scared to death she'll endorse them. The one she endorses is sure to lose. And....why does anyone care who she endorses? I know the candidates don't.

I see Wolf forgot ask her why, if she is so fiscally conservative, her campaign is 750k in debt . Hypocrisy is rampant in the GOP and Bachmann is another shining example.

Her interview on Wolf Blitzer's program was scary. Why MN elected her is beyond reason, maybe frozen brains way up north.

Will Ms Bachmann's endorsement be as valued as that of Christine O'Donnell's? Well, lessee.., Christine endorsed Romany so, I ask, can Romney suffer 2 such endorsements? What!!?? Minnesota is "redistricting"? Isn't that politically polite!!

With any luck Bachmann will be redistricted into political extinction.

I think we all - including conservatives - have had enough of this sad amateur.

Translation. It looks like a tea-party favorite will not get the nod, therefore I am not going to endorse anyone until after the convention.

Michelle who? The only endorsement of hers that has ANY value is the one she will make along with everyone else on election day in November. Aside from that, her words are worthless.
