Does defiant Gingrich help or hurt GOP's chances?

Orlando (CNN) - After a bruising 10 days in Florida, Newt Gingrich wasn't conceding anything to Mitt Romney after a devastating, momentum-shifting loss in the state's primary.

Instead, Gingrich appeared to be more emboldened to be the conservative alternative to Romney as the campaign for the Republican nomination enters a stretch of low-stakes contests in February.

Newt's biggest problem was all those Northern transplants in FL who can read.

    Defiant Newt works for me.

Persistent Ron Paul is even better.

Slick Santorum and Rmney the Robot, not so much.

this is perhaps Newt's LAST go around to be POTUS and he knows it. So of course right now it is all about Newt and nobody else not even the party. I think it hurts the image of the GOP which is already in the tank with approval ratings at an all time low. But come Tampa they'll kiss and make up and go after Obama just depends if the country falls for the fake love fest.

After Mr. Romney knock him down in Florida doubt a walking stick will help him in next elections. Bless.

Keep it up Newter. You're a vile hypocrite but you are doing real americans a service by exposing flippity-flop and doing the Democrats work for them.

If you get everything out in the primary than there is less that can come out in the general election.

Moon Pilot Newt and his co-pilot Cain will be glad when the election is over so they can go to the moon and swap their fantasy girls phone numbers. Newt's journey to the presidency will end shortly when his Big Pac money dries up. These folks didn't get rich by betting on losers.

Hey Newt, your math is wrong, you're not on the ballot in Virgina! It's 45 states to go. Better change your sign before you look stupid and desperate....Oops, too late.
