Trump confirms he will endorse Romney

(CNN) - Celebrity business magnate Donald Trump endorsed Mitt Romney for president Thursday, telling reporters he will not mount an independent campaign if Romney is the Republican nominee.

Trump, who has repeatedly flirted with the possibility of his own White House bid, revealed his decision in Las Vegas two days before Nevada's Saturday caucuses.

No surprise here. The money folks stick together. It's all about money, money, money. Shows how out of touch these people are with the working people of this country. We are the ones that work until we drop for the mediocre wages we get while watching the rich get richer. They spend their money like there is no tomorrow.

I don't support Rommey and I don't respect Trump. This republican race is not a fair race and there should be limits on how much a presidential candidate can spend. Money can buy anything and these two guys prove it.

Well that should be the last nail in Mitt's coffin as far as having any chance at all of winning in November.

Trump may be anoying and have crazy, comb-over hair but he's been very successful and true, he has created many, many jobs for Americans and have helped many people become financially successful. Trump's endorsement will pretty much be a non-factor to Romney's nom. but will look good for Trump and he knows who the winner will be.

Let me see if I can follow the Newt's endorsements. Todd (I want Alaska out of the USA) Palin, Herman (Where are the women) Cain and Donald (I don't believe in birth certificates, even the ones verified by the states) Trump. A Loserville trio that would be hard to get anywhere else but the fringes of the Republican Party. Add in the Tea Partiers and you are ready to destroy the GOP forever.

Romney supporters: most of the Republican leadership, a selection of ex-Presidential candidates and a pretty good number of business leaders. Throw in the majority of the centerist Republicans and some of the independents. They might be able to save the Party from the path of destruction it is now on.

Big whoop!!! Willard may very well be sorry if that hair bomb goes off the rails again with his birther nonsense! Two rich dudes with no clue about the plight of the average working American. Bet they never had to worry about which bill to pay, or not to pay in order to buy some food. I could care less about them being rich, it is their seemingly lack of empathy that's really appalling.

Shame on American citizens if they give any credit to this man. He is only looking for his continuation as a celebrity....just another fame whore.

Not suprising....... He's always been a closet democrat. It gives Gingrich more of a boost than it will Obamney.

Romney said he wasn't concerned about the very poor. Food stamps is not a 'safety net'. And under Romney, the poor will see their taxes increase!

The only people Romney or Trump are concerned about are the wealthy!

Wow, what a disappointment Trump is. After Romney says he is not concerned about the poor, Trump endorses fellow rich man. What can they all be thinking? This will not play in Peoria. Trump might as well endorse Obama.

I am waiting to see or hear Trump ask for Romney's ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE since Romney's father was born outside the USA (Mexico to be exact).

Not sure if that helps or hurts Romney. Trumps endorsement doesn't do alot for me, that's for sure!

After getting endorsement from the ignorant and racist Trump, Romney and his sons will start demanding the same racially charged proof of Obama's Birth Certificate. Romney's one of the sons already made that statement in IA campaign in exchange for his father's tax return. What a bunch of losers, who have no shame to accept the endorsement of an Idiot like Donal Trump. This GOP font runner is an insult to American politics of 2012. Shame on you Romney! You failed the greatness of America by accepting the endorsement of Trump.
