(CNN) - She may have dropped her bid for the presidential nomination, but Michele Bachmann is still adamantly pushing her conservative credentials.
Asked by Bloomberg TV’s Al Hunt to name the most conservative candidate remaining in the 2012 race, Bachmann responded by plugging herself.

"I was. I was the perfect candidate," Bachmann said. "America had their chance with the perfect candidate. But any of our candidates are going to be acceptable to the American people. More than acceptable, because right now, if you look at the Gallup map that came out this week, President Obama is in big trouble all across the country."
Bachmann’s assertion that she was the prefect candidate ultimately comes too late – the Minnesota congresswoman dropped out of the 2012 GOP race in January after finishing sixth in Iowa, the state where she was born.
She announced last week that she would seek re-election for her seat in Congress.

I wouldn't be surprised is next she starts saying that she's Jesus in a female form.
Narcissism to the max! Everybody else is blind to her greatness. Nice to see mentally ill people taking part in society, though.
I don't see how anyone can argue with her claim. Each and every one of the Republican candidates are certifiable idiots and she is clearly a perfect idiot.
She's perfect in her simple little mind.
Right on, Tony Torres. CNN is wasting time and diverting America's attention from the serious issues. Right now CNN and the rest of the so-called "liberal" media have been heavily censoring two important stories. Voter participation in the GOBP primaries is down almost everywhere. Contrary to the false memes being spread, there is no deep "enthusiasm" among their voters. Instead, there is a consistent almost apathetic indifference toward this flaccid clown car of failed candidates.
And the really big story CNN (and others) censor is the fact that THREE QUARTERS of Americans want a millionaire tax, including HALF of rank and file R voters. Even more newsworthy is the fact not a single clown car candidate has addressed the concerns of HALF his voting base. How insane is that?
@TomNYC – "I wouldn't be surprised is next she starts saying that she's Jesus in a female form." IF that is the case I will convert to Atheism in a cold minute.
