Washington (CNN) - The super PAC supporting Rick Santorum, the Red, White and Blue Fund, is going on the air in Michigan with a substantial ad buy. The super PAC is buying $663,500 of ad time in the state running from Thursday evening through next Tuesday, according to the group.
"As we've seen throughout this election cycle, the Romney campaign is good at two things: spending tons of cash and tearing others down. It won't work here," Stuart Roy, an adviser to the super PAC, said. "While we won't get pulled into the type of 'spitting' match that Romney likes to engage in, we also won't let attacks go unanswered."

As the Michigan primary on Feb. 28 nears, the ad war in the state is intensifying.
The Romney campaign has bought almost $1.2 million in ad time in Michigan, a Republican media buyer told CNN. The pro-Romney super PAC, Restore Our Future, has purchased $640,000 of commercial time in the state and is running a spot attacking Santorum as a "Washington Insider." Restore Our Future also has purchased substantial air time in Arizona and several Super Tuesday states.
The Red, White and Blue Fund is saying its buy will match what both the Romney campaign and his super PAC are spending in the state during the same period.
The super PAC is expected to make announcements about buys in other states soon. Santorum is set to appear at a fundraiser for the Red, White and Blue Fund later this month, a source with knowledge of the event told CNN, in an attempt to remain competitive with the super PAC supporting Romney's candidacy.

They should ask Newt's SuperPac can they buy the ad the ran against Willard in South Carolina.
Mitt keeps lying, flipping and flopping!
Everyone needs to understand that a "structured bankruptcy" means that you need a financial institution to finance your bankruptcy. Just like when Kodak recently filed for bankruptcy protection, they secured at $900 million loan to help them through this managed process. However, if you remember back when we had the financial collapse, there was no financial institution that would finance GM through the "structured bankruptcy" process. No one would step up with the capital needed for this process. Therefore, the government "OBAMA" admin stepped up and said the tax payer would supply the capital needed.
When Mitt says that they should have gone through a "structured Bankruptcy", that is dishonest!!!! That was not an option because no one would financially back GM at the time.
I am so sick and tired of uneducated, uninformed idiots that just listen to the lies from Mitt. Mitt is a flip flopper and will say anything to anyone to get a vote.
Not going to work, he turned his back on GM and the auto industry and it is amazing how blue collar workers continue to support the GOP...
I really wonder what the supreme court was thinking when the decision allowed all these super pacs. Apparently they were thinking that money make rules (golden rule where he who has the gold makes the rules). To think what all these people who are dropping $10,000 or more on these super pacs could do for the general good rather than for these canadidates. They could be funding food pantries, homeless shelters, job training programs or more. This is a sad fact that they keep their money and spend it on politics.
Go Rick! Michigan can't stand Mitten's elitist snobbery.
Let's not forget, this extremist (Santorum) who doesn't want women to have rights, and wants to censor what he deems 'inappropriate' in the US, also won 2006's 'most corrupt senator'. He has also stated he wants to revamp all laws to be Biblical based (by that it's safe to assume 'his interpretation'). Be afraid America.
Send Romney packing. He is a real creep.

Exactly. I've been saying until I've turned blue in the face, and the conservatives still deny history. GM would not have just gone bankrupt, they would have been completely liquidated and sold to the highest bidder. Not only would tens of thousands have lost their GM jobs, tens of thousands would have been lost in support industries. GM doesn't build car seats, radios, OnStar, batteries, tires, and a host of other stuff. We would have finally seen actual trickle down economics at its' worst.
Wow – I can't believe people are actually thinking of voting for Santorum... dionysus put it perfectly, Santorum is insane. The only 2 people I'd consider voting for are Ron Paul and Mitt... They're the only two who aren't total nut jobs.
dionysus - A man who doesn't give a crap about the Constitution and religious freedom?
================================================================
Describes Obama perfectly. He's spit on the Constitution almost every day he's been in office an dhas no problem letting his leftist agenda trample all over religious freedom.

I don't care how bad the GOP field is, when Santorum becomes the front-runner you know a large portion of the country has gone absolutely insane.

I don't think they are insane, there's just a lot of haters out there. Consider the evidence. Look at who else led, and why. They want an attack dog to rip Pres. Obama's political guts out. Bachmann initially led because of her ongoing war against Pres. Obama. Perry came out highly critical. Then the debates started. Cain did the best overall in the early debates. Then Newt finally caught on to the game, let his rhetoric rip. Finally we have Santorum, who really took off following that controversial comment about "blah" people.
At the end of Mr Pesonalitys ad he says this is personal, He is going to see just how personal it is from these fine people of Detroit & Co! come election day!
Santorum, why is Romeny only bashing the Auto Industry bail outs, and not the Banking Industy bail outs. There were UAW fat cat pensions that got paid in full because of the bail outs.and there were fat cat Banking Officers that got their lucrative bonuses because of the bail outs. Obama received millions of UAW contributions for his campaign, and one has to wonder which politicians received contributions for the Bank bail outs?? Santorum, can you discuss the pros and cons of the Auto Industry and Bank Industry bail out, apparently Romney is ignoring the topic.
I have the religious freedom to make my employees wear the burka in their bedroom!! This is what the Santorum Religiocracy looks like!!
Definitely Elite snob to the 10th degree, hides $ overseas, gets 1.3 Billion for his Mormon buddies in Salt Lake for the games, talks about not worrying about the poor cause they got a safety net, even tries tell people that he gave advice to The Prez & taking credit for those same fine people he completely turned his back on in Detroit. Mr. Personality is a complete phony!!!
