Conservatives urge 'immediate' U.S. action on Syria

(CNN) - Prominent U.S. conservatives want the Obama administration to "take immediate action" against the Syrian regime, including "no-go zones" for President Bashar al-Assad's military and "self-defense aid" to resistance forces.

Fifty-six foreign policy experts and former U.S. government officials signed a letter dated Friday calling for proactive U.S.-led steps against the government. It comes as Syrian citizens and activists plead for world powers to help stop the government's bloody crackdown.

When you despise warfare more than you despise welfare you might have something worthwhile to say. Until then, Forget About It!!!

Since Republicans want more wars, they should enlist in the armed forces, or be drafted. They should pay a war tax.

I would like to see some of these War Mongering people to put their own family members on the line for the next damn War!

Every generation gets to have their very own war because, we as a nation, do not stop it.

But conservatives were against US involvement in Lybia? Sounds to me they don't have a foreign intervention policy (while they are not in the White House) except to take whatever position that does not line up with Obama's position. Sorry, but such an approach is not leadership.
