BLITZER'S BLOG: How many times will the tables turn between now and November?
Mesa, Arizona (CNN) – Things appear to be moving in the right direction for President Obama and his re-election drive – at least a bit.
The unemployment rate has been steadily going down in recent months.

Here is a little factoid for you the Obama administration assumed the job of doing the job numbers last yeat and that was when the numbers started to go doWn. What a Coincidence!!
50 times. Once for each Republican primary as the Republicans try to figure out who actually won each contest. Yes, I know they are not 50 states left. I am also included the overturned tables at the RNC convention.

Wolfie, the unemployment rate has been going down for ONE REASON, large numbers of people are dropping OUT of the workforce. The REAL unemployment rate is over 15%. And now with gas over $4/gal and heading towards $5/gal , the smoke and mirrors Obama "recovery" will be exposed for what it is, FICTION. Maybe the dictator-in-chief will simply MANDATE we all buy Chevy Volts to get around?
Every penny increase in gas takes ONE BILLION in disposable income out of the economy and sends it overseas. And if Iran decides to flip out and do anything in the Strait of Hormuz or attack Israel or if Israel attacks Iran, Obama and this country are in deep doo-doo. I guess Obama's handling of Iran isn't going so well. They know he's a weak president so I expect they'll act up.
The more the GOP field blast Pres. Obama, the more his ratings go up. Keep it up you guys and stay away from
womens issues you know nothing about!!
@easydoesit,,The bipartisan Congressional Budget Office reports that January unemployment figures, as touted by Obama, don't reflect the real unemployment stats. The CBO notes, "the past three years has been the longest stretch of high unemployment in this country since the Great Depression." If those who are unemployed and have given up on searching for a job were included in the stats, "the unemployment rate in January 2012 would have been about 15 percent."
In a plain English language–Obama2012. That's it.
Amazing that Blitzer gets paid for such worthless tripe. Did anyone learn a single new fact or gain a single new perspective from this article?
What do republicans do for gas hike? Magic Wand. Listen, Even Entire Middle Eastern block is drying up gas, because of excessive heat. Why, Iraq got bombed. Where do you think that energy released by powerful bombs go? Did you ever go there. Severe Heat. So only Migration from entire East to either Europe, or to Canada, or to USA. do not blame on someone for gas hike. Since Bush era, gas prices went up. What did Bush do? Nothing.
Mere lunacy doesn't adequately describe Obama's latest plan, which budgets $800 million in economic aid for countries swept by the "Arab Spring." During a time of crushing national debt, Obama wants to send American tax dollars to governments headed by the likes of the jihadist Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, which this week threatened to "modify" (i.e., cancel) the Camp David treaty with Israel if U.S. dollars don't keep flowing to Egypt. How's that "Arab Spring" working out for everyone?
Meanwhile, as Republicans continue to throw up every issue that is not a priority to most Americans, except the economy and the jobs they ran on in 2010, unemployment continues to drop.
