Washington (CNN) - When Derrick Bell was a young lawyer in the Department of Justice's new Civil Rights Division in the late 1950s, his supervisor told him to drop his membership in the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.
Bell refused, and soon saw his caseload reduced and desk moved into the hallway. Eventually he resigned.

speaking of Obama's meeting with Israel. why can the U.S. and Israel have nuclear energy and nuclear weapons and
Iran and North Korea can't. It doesn't seem fair. WIth the U.S. invading Iraq, Iran and North Korea are trying to protect
themselves.
"It carries over into his governance because his Justice Department won't treat black civil rights violators the same way it treats white civil rights violators," Pollak said, adding "there's a racial pattern in which justice is enforced and it gives us a sense of how Barack Obama thinks about these issues."

If only that wild allegation were true. I wish it were trie because if it were, then somone could to tell Pollack, "The shoe is now on the other foot. Welcome to life as a black man, and there's nothing you can do to change it. It's a life sentence."
LOL! This was Sean Insannity's and Not-So-Breitbart's alleged "big" news about President Obama. What a bunch of losers.
This was the big news? This is more pathetic than arpaio still looking for the untruth about where the President was born.
Do these people ever give up? I would like to see the long form birth certificates of everyone one of the clowns who are running for the teabaggers in 2012.
BTW – President Obama is not really a leftist. He is more of a centrist and rightly so because he wants to unite the country in spite of the teapublikans in congress and their hatred and disrespect of him. Regardless of your views there always has to be somebody who is in the middle making sure both sides balance.
"President Obama is not really a leftist. He is more of a centrist and rightly so because he wants to unite the country in spite of the teapublikans in congress and their hatred and disrespect of him."
Even more to the point, he's the best Republican president since Ike.
I watched Hannity yesterday trying really hard to sell this as somethint of big news about Obama's past assoociations.. Honestly, he looked pathetic.. Andn it shows even back then how wellspoken the PResident was.. And by the way, my understanding is he was chosen as the president of the Harvard Law Review by a pretty conservative group back then...
This issue at hand is the concerted effort of the progressively liberal media mutts covering up for Obama.
As we can clearly see Tom Cohen's progressive liberal article.
LETS DO IT AGAIN
OBAMA 2012
Obumma is a socialist. If u like that, vote for it.
no wonder Harvard is another idiotic, lot of smart kids are not even considering this school any more.
Obama is NOT a centrist. He's a hard-left liberal, and to say otherwise would be completely disingenuous, given his voting record (when he voted other than "present"). But hey – believe what you want.
So, what's the RW's over/under on total conspiracies by #44? 15
They take a video that had been used in 2008 in order to rehash their thoughts of Obama's extremism, and yet, they have to be extremely stupid to think more people will think this proves anything. And of course by 'people' I'm not including a majority of the GOTea.

And, just what exactly does that have to do with his governing from the center as POTUS? I gotta admit, though. It is a great sounding talking point .... from 2008, no less.
It shows even at an early age, our president was born to be a leader. Get over it.
