Video: Gingrich says Obama is 'for Saudi oil'
(CNN) - GOP presidential candidate Newt Gingrich says President Barack Obama is "for Saudi oil and against American oil."

So is every repug. There is ample oil everywhere in Saudi. My father worked in big oil in that country, and in my time there I only saw capped oil pumps every mile down every road and freeway. Anyone wants to tell you we are running out of oil has no idea what they are saying. Oil is a different comodoty there, and very free to drilling, whether a house sits on a spot or not.

After a southern loss, Newt will say more and more outlandish things to get attention...just watch.

Phew! Things are getting pretty desperate out there for Gingrich. We can expect to hear more off the wall comments in a last ditch effort to make a comeback which is by the way highly doubtful. So much for Sheldon Adelson's wasted $10 million trying to finance a Gingrich presidency!

America is for Saudi Oil. How else can you explain the amount of consumption which can never be offset by any amount of local drilling? By Newt's logic, America is for Obama?
Gingrinch is confusing President Obama with GW Bush who not only kissed the Saudi Prince but held hands with him when he came to visit.
For the past year, foreign oil imports have dropped by 10% (about 1 million barrels a day) and have been dropping ever since President Obama was sworn in (in 2010, we imported less than 50 percent of the oil our nation consumed, which is the first time that’s happened in 13 years). This is partly due to the FACT that domestic oil production is up.
The reason why the price of gas remains high is because oil is traded on a global market and is greatly affected by oil speculators, over whom the President does not have control.
Gingrinch knows this, but is counting on his sheeple to be too lazy or dim to get the facts or think for themselves. For your sake, I hope you're not being suckered by the Gingrinch Bag O' Wind.
I just can't believe the things that come out of the GOP candidates mouth. Even an American of average intelligence can figure out the lies they spew. Obama is for Saudi Oil? How do you get that from we need to get off foreign oil and use green technologies? How please tell me. Gingrich isn't for American oil he is for American oil companies getting richer and therefore he gets richer. What an idiot.

How dare he say Obama is for Saudi Oil when Obama is being fought tooth and nail to implement Green Energy economy policies. He is against BP spills off the coast of America which not only devastate the ecosystem, but also costs the economy billions that will never be recovered from these companies.

WOW he has a way of spinning thing. No one bit of oil that is drilled here stays here so why rip our country apart for Canadian oil when it won't stay here!!!! It will be refined here and shipped to Asia.
Begs the Saudi to put more oil on the market, pays Brazil to produce offshore. Pays wind farms here in the US not to produce energy. Makes one wonder what does he want. Is it that all of us have tol ride bicycles so he flys on Airforce One to see a basketball game.

this guy knows nothing about the oil industry! first republicans are the last people to do anything about the gas prices because any goverment controls goes against their worship of capitalizm. second we can't drill our way out of the coming problem of decline in oil reserves. third building a pipe line for tar sands oil from canada to the gulf is stupid because we could build a new refinery at the american and canadian border which makes more sense than piping the oil to the gulf were storms can shut down refineries! the way i see it the pipe line is needed to the gulf so the oil compaines can ship the oil to china as well as other markets. remember that the chinese wanted to pay for a new pipe line accross the rocky just to buy tar sand oil making the oil in the pipe line belong to the chinese market only. wise up republicans and try to use at least a little part of your brain!
I LOVE how they always paint Obama with the same brush, no matter what the subject. Gingrich loves American apple pie, Obama likes Saudi pie... santorum loves american baseball, obama loves ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT baseball... Romney loves Chevrolet.... oh wait, Obama bailed them out. Never mind.
yep that is why more US oil is being pumped and shipped out under the current Obama administration. People like Gingrich and some other GOPers try to take advantage of the ignorance of some Americans to what is really going on in our country. They prey on the fear and misinformation card because they know it works. Newt is a pro at it.....he could claim Obama wants us all to use cooking oil and his croonies would believe it. There is a thing called FACT-CHECK and it is very easy to do on the internet. There really is no excuse anymore for people to fall for such crap unless they just really want to.
