It's early, and State of the Union is bringing you the best of the morning headlines to go with your cup of coffee.
On our radar: Looking ahead to Puerto Rico and Illinois, Rick Santorum hopes to maintain the momentum he picked up in Mississippi and Alabama earlier this week; rising tensions in Afghanistan amid last weekend's shooting spree; and President Obama hits the campaign trail as Republicans continue their slog toward the Tampa convention.
Check out what we're reading, and be sure to watch our interview with presidential candidate Rick Santorum and Afghanistan's Amb. to the United States, Eklil Hakimi. State of the Union airs today at 9am/12pm ET.

Lesson Obama needs to publickly call out these speculators by using holder to investigate them. He needs to be seen by the people doing every thing to ease their pain with high gas prices, he also need to open up the oil reserves. The repubs is going to holler free marker and government over reach, because they can ill afford to lose the only political event going in their way at the moment, with high gas prices. They've tried to sabatage this president ever since he took office. They've push their war lingering crap to Iran knowing Iran was going to cut oil production to spite the west. I don't know if its sabatage or just incompetence, because every thing these repubs seems to do, ends up a catostrophy.
The state of the union is so bad they had to pick the most unlikely time for people to watch it. That tells all
Good morning. Between Paul and Santorum the GOP is getting a good spring cleaning! 🙂 Bring the troops home from Afghanistan and fight the war on terror with intelligence.
