(CNN) - Reince Priebus responded Tuesday to the controversy over Santorum's statement that he "doesn't care about the unemployment rate."
"I think that Rick Santorum's right," Priebus said on CNN's "Starting Point with Soledad O'Brien."
"This election is about big things. It's about liberty and freedom and we've got the two-year anniversary of Obamacare that's coming. This is another promise that Barack Obama made that prices would go down and access would go up, and in reality we all know that actually prices are going up, companies are taking waivers that Obamacare isn't what everyone thought it would be, in fact it's the opposite."
Of course they are not worried about the unemployment rate or the economy because it is a losing issue for them. It's a stark reminder to voters that their trickle down theory and deregulation destroyed the economy and Pres Obama's pro middle class policies have saved us. It takes us back to the Bush years that is taboo to mention to repubs which makes me wonder why so many Bush advisors are on Rmoney's staff? All that I know is that my 401K is looking a lot better since BHO took office.
He's GOP. Of course, he doesn't care about the unemployment rate. None in the GOP do. They have been trying to destroy the middle class for some time now, and a higher unemployment rate fits right into their plans.
Good thing we have the Democrats on America's side. They do care and they're trying to fix the situation that the GOP created.
The ugly rhetoric and nasty accusations that stream out of the mouths of people like Reince Priebus and the motley fools running for president, are really getting old and stale, and I am amazed that they can even stand themselves! As a previous member of the republican party (NO LONGER!), I am shocked to see how low they have sunk. The thought of ANY of the GOP candidates that are running ever becoming president totally scares the hell out of me!
