Ryan's open to V.P spot
Washington (CNN) – Republican Rep. Paul Ryan said he would “consider” serving in the No. 2 spot on the GOP presidential ticket in 2012.
But his response was surrounded by the obligatory “it’s not even something in my mind” and “I’m so focused on my job” lines.

“I would consider it but it’s not even something in my mind because it’s a decision someone else makes at a later time,” Ryan said Sunday on CBS’ “Face the Nation.” “It’s a bridge I haven’t gotten close to having to cross so in the meantime I think it’s important to do my job.”
Ryan has risen to national prominence in his role as chairman of the House Budget Committee, becoming the point person for the Republican Party on debt and spending.
The Wisconsin representative, who closed the door to a potential presidential bid of his own early in the 2012 cycle, also said Romney is "on his way" to capturing his party’s nomination. The two met on Capitol Hill Thursday.
“I don’t know if I’d say he’s got it wrapped up,” Ryan said on “Fox News Sunday.” “He’s clearly on his way. I think he’s becoming the prohibitive frontrunner and I think the sooner we coalesce around a nominee the better off we’ll be. The prize is November, not this summer. I think it’s coming together, but I’ll let the people of this country decide that.”

Paul Ryan's budget is highly discriminatory, aimed at one segment of the population – those who genuinely need assistance.
He makes no mention of the excess in Congressional wages, pensions, perquisites and lifetime amenities. Congress easily represents professional political welfare with many areas ripe for cutting back. Do it, Paul Ryan, or forever hold your tongue.

If Paul Ryan becomes V.P. (elected) I will leave the United States! The little monster's taste for $700 a bottle wine while attempting to cut us seniors off at the knees is as deplorable as it is disgusting! You fools who think his economic ideas such as "medicare vouchers" and reduced social security, I will gladly trade places with you for 3 months! If you can actually live on what I get now from Social Security and NO med insurance of any kind for those 3 months, I'd be more than amazed. This little idiot is so full of himself! The repubs want austerity like the UK opted for. You see how well that is working, they are in their 2nd recession in 3 years. The EU is finally coming around to Pres Obama's position. They are instituting stimulus programs. Thanks to the Pres America is in much better shape economically then our EU allies. the article says he thinks romney is on his way to the nomination. and it says ryan is open to being VP..for whom? any of them? just romney? just santorum? a person chosen at the GOP convention??? if the GOP wants to solidify the base, ryna may be the choice. but if the want to win in nov..he will sink any ticket even more...

Hey what could be more fair and better long range planning that the Ryan Plan? Only the people who actually have to work for a living would have to pay taxes and once they reach a level of wealth where they can live on the interest, they too will get a free ride. After a certain amount of time you are either wealthy or dead and America will truly be the promised land.
