Yeah, That's real funny. As with Bill Maher, the left can utilize the "comedian shield" to protect their Messiah from criticism for yet another "gaffe". IMHO It was more like a Freudian slip.

This president is not only unintelligent, a product of affirmative action, but he is dangerous to us all.

One thing President Obama knows how to do is deal with these types of situations. Say what you want about his policies, but most other politicians, particularly the Republican candidates would've gotten very defensive and blamed the media. Also, I highly, HIGHLY doubt he's the first president or even the first politician world-wide to make comments like that. He just might be the first politician to be caught on an open mic.

Standard operating procedure. Remember all the chuckles over 'there weren't as many shovel-ready jobs as we thought'?

Does Obama think it's really funny? It certainly doesn't say much about his leadership here. It also brings serious questions as to the discussions he's making here.

The closer he gets to being booted out of office, the more ridiculous he looks. You can totally tell that he gets no good advice from his political advisors, or he isn't taking it to heart, that is for sure, he is so mistakenly self confident that he is just winging it. Obamas administration is like a snowball going downhill, it is kind of fun to watch, but we are all standing at the bottom of the hill.

What, is this man's presidency a 1970's sitcom now? Where are the Ropers when you need them? What an inept tool.

If George W. Bush had made this serious wouldn't be a joke to make "light of". CNN and all of the liberal Democrats would demand an explanation. What flexibility is Obama talking about??? We received a real course of action when the one thought he was talking privately. Obama is worse than Jimmy Carter...(the other one term Democrat President.

Obama is the joke and he continues to sell our nation down the tube.

Wait till I win re-election and I can give in to Russia like I have all the other Country's.

kind of counting his chicken before they hatch if a Repub said what he did CNN and all the other liberal presses would want their hide but not Obama he is the second coming.

My experience is that things Obama "makes light of" are things that Freedom Loving Americans must "pay attention to and challenge" if they have any burning desire to keep our still great Nation free and vibrant. It is shocking to me that we know more about Adolph Hitler than we do about a President of the United States now seeking his second term to "finish his Agenda" whatever that might be. My fear is, that when the truth is finally known, his Agenda is Socialism/Marxism and subordination of OUR Country to the will of the United Nations.

"Making light" would be what one expects of a person caught saying something they probably shouldn't. Doesn't change the fact that it sounds as if he has some kind of deal with the Russians he cannot share with the American public prior to the election. Why would that be? Inquiring minds want to know. The press on the other hand will cover the awkward jokes Obama makes to deflect real questions that they are unwilling to ask. Another example of the American press malpractice.

Laugh all you want Mr. President, but you gave everyone an unintended glimpse into your two-faced nature. ...and those of you who think it's about getting past his opponents ... it's not. It's about having the flexibility to dupe enough people into supporting him that he can get re-elected and then do whatever he wants.

I've seen this before. Whenever Obama gets caught, he mocks and taunts those who try to hold him accountable. Obama has outsized hubris.

There lies the problem, he thinks everything is funny. High unemployment, high taxes, bigger government, more regulations, high gas prices, HILARIOUS!
