(CNN) - As someone who spends life on the road, Ann Romney knows a thing or two about hotels.
Her favorites, she said Wednesday, are the ones that come with free Wi-Fi.

"It's so convenient just to be able to get your internet," Ann said on Mike Huckabee's radio show. "I personally like Hampton Inns, but that's an aside."
During the interview, the wife of GOP presidential frontrunner Mitt Romney gave a glimpse into life on the campaign trail, detailing a grinding schedule packed with media interviews and daily city-hopping.
"It is tiring, and then you do it and then you get up and do the same thing the next day. And then you get up and do it the next day," Ann, who's been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, said. "It just goes on and on and on."
Ann said she views her role on the campaign as a window into what she describes as the softer, lesser known side of her husband.
"It just makes me sad that they don't know the real guy that I know, and that is my responsibility to let people see that side of him more," she said.
Often touted as a strong asset for his campaign, Ann frequently appears on stage to introduce her husband of 43 years before his speeches.
The millionaire couple typically stays at a Holiday Inn or Hampton Inn, she said, adding that her "clothes aren't looking so great" while living out of a suitcase for six weeks at a time.
But Ann reiterated that all the travails of a presidential campaign are worth it when meeting voters.
"You make new friends. I mean you see parts of the country you would never see otherwise. So there is the good and bad that comes with it, and I always like to remind myself what an extraordinary experience it is," she said. "It is not easy, no, but it is definitely worth it."

Romney on Santorum: 'This has been a good day for me'
It was a misquote. Ann meant to say she loved the Hamptons (even though good car elevator operators are hard to find out there).
Now Ronmey's decide to thumb it nose down. They are such an insult
This may be enough for me to stop staying at Hampton Inn . . .
I'll give a nod to Mrs. Romney as I personally know MS can leave you wiped out at the start of your day. Getting through the rest of it can be beyond trying. But as to liking the Hampton Inn I have to wonder if she really meant The Hamptons? And as to knowing your husband, we've seen him running in place for what, six years now?

You just couldn't resist calling the first black president "boy". I stopped reading your dribble after that. You just helped to confirm what many believe about the "we hate Obama" crowd.
Bet she doesn't stay at a Hampton when there is a Hilton in the town.
you can see your fakeness,
I love how Ann is so down to earth. Hampton Inns is not what I would have expected her to say. It's nice to see someone so well grounded. Can't wait to see what they bring to the White House.
Give Mrs. Romney a break, maybe there wasn't a Trump Towers near by.
Sniffit -
Because to some extent it's true, but not how he thinks: large employers affected by the economic collapse have to some extent intentionally withheld hiring in hopes that continued poor unemployment will hurt Obama

WOW, this is the fantasy world Sniffin and his lefties live in. Companies hire people when they have work for them to do and they have the money to hire them. Companies have not been hiring because of reduced demand and huge uncertainty about several large ticket items like their taxes and healthcare costs, compliments of Obama and the Democrats. Add to this the sky rocketing energy prices which only add to their expenses and you have people and companies playing it close to the belt. The economy is very soft and could turn bad again on a dime. It is NOT time to be going hog wild hiring people
I mean they're not like big government GSA types that can just take more from others to party it up on somebody elses dime!

Thanks for giving it to him Mikey. Moving forward I think we can all just simply agree to use the phrase "Obama the Clueless Wonder" to avoid these dicey situations. But I'm curious, if Obama had a son, would it be politically correct to ask about "Obama's boy"? Or will we have to rework or language to suit you morons?
The Romney's are definitely going to have to learn how to spend $75,000, three times over, just scouting a hotel if they want to keep up with the Obama Administration..
"You make new friends. I mean you see parts of the country you would never see otherwise" Really?!
There is NOT one word about meeting struggling families or seeing how Americans are suffering on their vacation-campaign road show....Ann Romney is whinning about seeing part of the country, the kind of clothes & jewellries she missed wearing, and staying in Hampton's instead of 5-star Bain Capital hotel suites!!!
ROMNEY'S – THE OUT OF TOUCH RICH MILLIONARES WHO GOT THEIR GW BUSH TAX BREAKS ALL LINED UP IN SWISS BANK ACCOUNTS & THE CAYMEN ISLAND!!!!
