Romney files for extension on his 2011 tax return
New York (CNNMoney) - Like millions of other Americans, Mitt Romney isn't going to be ready to file his taxes on time this year.
The former Massachusetts governor and his wife Ann filed for an extension for their 2011 taxes, according to tax forms released by the Romney campaign on Friday.

How can he need an extension? He's got accountants who well know the date by which they need to file – it's the same every year. And apparently, given Mittens hasn't worked in about 10 years and makes all his income from interest on his investments, surely preparing the tax return isn't that complicated (or at least unchanged from the last several years).
Unless, of course, devising ways to cover the fact that Mittens' money is hidden in Swiss and offshore bank accounts makes it a bit tricky this year ...

He is a snake in the grass, he has in mind to tell us what we want to hear, and in real truth he is all for the rich. Big oil, big company's, low tax for the rich, while the working class pays for this great land. He wants low pay to workers, he wants to end S.S., Medicare. Women rights, and can't be trusted will this land on world issues.
And this is news? Why? Lots of people do this? Maybe the media should focus on increased debt, deficits and unemployment over the past 3 1/2 years.

Romney lies. Delaying filing his taxes tells me one thing. He made more money in his investments and is trying to find a way to pay more taxes. Under the tax system the more you make the less you pay. Obama / biden 2012. The only trusted way forward.
Why does he need an extension? I guess to cook up his paper work. This guy is just a pathetic liar. He makes Dubya look like a Saint!
Is this the man the president to be??? Really!!! What we know is, the man who is expected to lead, must be clean, avoid those times when people will try to think, Oh! wait a minute! why is he hiding something?? How much will he hide us once he becomes the President. Am sorry to say this is not the good beginning of an expected President to be. He knew it before(6 years back) that he is looking for this position. How come now he is behaving like a normal citizen? This is the question every voter should ask herself/himself.
of course they did now they won't be able to show us their return. Don't you find it odd that the president has made his returns available all the way back to 2001 and flip flop can't do the same. All his money and the accountants can't get it done. Not like he didn't know people would ask they did last time he ran. He has run for some kind of office for so long he should be prepared. If he's such a great businessman why can't he get his income tax forms completed on time like everyone else? How can he run the economy of a country if he can't stay on top of his own taxes and commitments? It does make you wonder if he is perhaps hiding something and trying to get it covered up. If he has nothing to hide, hire a good tax accountant and file the taxes now.
Guess he'll extend until saaay ... December
