Trumps hosting birthday fundraiser for Ann Romney

Washington (CNN) – Her birthday may be Monday, but some of the biggest gifts Ann Romney brings in will come the day after.

Mrs. Romney is the guest of honor at a birthday fundraising event Tuesday in New York City for the campaign, hosted by Donald Trump's wife, Melania.

Trump spokesman Michael Cohen said 400 people are expected at the event in the couple's residence inside Trump Tower. Cohen said the event sold out in a week, and is expected to bring in "well in excess" of $600,000.

Cohen said Trump will stop by the fundraiser to wish Mrs. Romney a happy birthday. He said Trump expects to host another fundraiser for the campaign at Trump Tower once Romney officially clinches the nomination.

First lady Michelle Obama will also be raising cash on Tuesday. She will speak at a Democratic National Committee event in Nashville, followed by two DNC fundraisers in Pittsburgh.

Tuesday will be a busy political day in Pittsburgh, as Romney holds a midday campaign roundtable at a community center in suburban Bethel Park.

Everybody forgets the context of the "never worked a day" comment. Romney had bragged that he understood women because he listened to his wife. Also, read Romney's comments on welfare: single mothers on welfare should "experience the dignity of work". So here's his position on women: If you're a single mother with little income, you need to work. If you marry a millionaire, then just raising your children is just extraordinary. Just keep looking deeper. This is the most multi-faceted candidate ever.

I think the problem with Conservatives is their idea that everyone can become wealthy. Surfing past FOXNEWS last night I overheard one of the GOP pundits calling poverty a "brain disease". Do the Republicans really believe that EVERYONE can, or even should be wealthy? If we were all venture capitalists like Mitt Romney then who would pick up our trash, repair our cars or build our roads? To the GOP, wealth is the proverbial dangling carrot. No one wants to tax millionaires because we will all be millionaires one day.......YEAH RIGHT!!

I gotta admit at least in this picture Trump's wife is HOT! But when you have all kinds of money that comes with the territory just ask his Ex-wives.

Sadly, he couldn't find one in America.

If Ann Romney is the key to getting Mitt Romney elected than perhaps Ann should be the one running for president! Mitt Romney is a loser!

Becoming wealthy is the American dream. Everyone has the potential to become rich. However, if you don't stay in school and don't work hard, or if you're not born into a wealthy family, your chances of becoming wealthy are very, very slim. Those who are born into poverty have a great deal of difficultly getting out of the vicious cycle, and in fact, it's almost impossible. However, getting out of poverty and making something of yourself is not impossible. Obama is a perfect examle of that. What is particularly hiliarious is the conservative talking points that anyone can be wealthy if only they work at it. Tell that too the poor families where both parents hold down several minimum wage jobs in collapsed towns where there is little work because the wealthy shipped all the jobs overseas. Some talking head on TV is no one to tell you how you can live. Stop listening to the Fox News hand puppets and look around you. Most of you conservatives drive old cars, live in homes or apartments that are at the bottom of the market, and can barely pay your bills. You go to church and pray for a better day because you're a good, religious person. You listen to Rush and others because they have instilled fear into you. You are good dogs, working for corporate American, which is running the conservative party. See any broken logic there?

The KING of the dumb republican Birthers movement throws a party for America's first presidential hopeful who is also a tax cheat and a serial flip flopper, boy that party must attract all kinds of vile people.

A fundraiser for one of the wealthiest women on the planet. How sweet. I wonder what country she'll buy with the money?
