Washington (CNN) - A General Services Administration official who first raised questions about overspending at a 2010 Las Vegas conference said Tuesday that she supported the findings of a government investigation and the steps taken in response to the controversy.
"I share your anger and disappointment in GSA's conduct," said Susan Brita, a GSA deputy administrator, at a House Transportation Committee hearing on the scandal that has raised questions of systemic abuses of spending by the government procurement agency.

The GSA budget doubled from 2006 to 2008, and then the agency ran itself from 2008 to 2010 under an interim director because Congress blocked appointees. Republicans need to be careful how they play this hand.
just another Obama regime scandal.....and the hits just keep on coming
Lead by example.
Nice to see CNN is finally showing the faces of those who were responsible for this fiasco, rather than showing the face of the President, who has had nothing to do with management of GSA.
The republicans are trying to spin this against Obama, yet this is tiny compared to the abuses under Bush. Bush ran on the standard republican war cry of smaller government and the federal government grew immensley under his administration. Worse yet, lobbyists tripled in number, almost all with republican leanings and connections.
They all should have to pay back every penny, and everyone should lose their jobs. Then see if they like being so wasteful.
Is whistle blower dem or rep
Republicans are trying to blame Pres. Obama for this when the guy most responsible, who has been taking the 5th Amendment time and again, has demonstrated a dislike for Pres. Obama.
obama victim

so when similar examples are brought forth that happened under Duh DUh DUh-bya, will you recant your moronic claim??.....not likely
Ironic that Republicans would be willing to have a woman testify to mis-deeds of the GSA, but have only men testify on the issue of women's health.
