Romney: Obama should 'suck it up'
(CNN) - Mitt Romney drew new contrasts with President Barack Obama on Wednesday by targeting the president's fondness for golf and vacations with his family.
The presumptive Republican presidential nominee said Obama's golf trips make him "scratch his head."

"I must admit, I scratch my head at the capacity of the president to take four hours off on such a regular basis to go golfing," Romney told WLW Radio in Cincinnati, responding to a question about the president's hobbies. "I would think you could kind of suck it up for four years particularly when the American people are out of work."
When asked about vacations taken by the Obama family, who travel to the president's native Hawaii annually, Romney said his family would not use four or eight years in the White House to "see the world." Instead, the former Massachusetts governor said he would frequent Camp David, the presidential retreat in the Catoctin Mountain Park of Frederick County, Maryland.
"I think one of the great resources that the president enjoys is Camp David," Romney said, after the host referenced a recent trip by Obama's eldest daughter Malia to Mexico. "I would anticipate if I were fortunate enough to become elected president that I'd be spending some time at Camp David, and my family and I would not be jetting around the world and using four years in office to see the world."
Obama has admittedly not used the grounds as much as his predecessors but is scheduled to host the G-8 summit there in May.
"Somebody pointed out that I hadn't had any of my counterparts, who I've worked with now for three years, up to Camp David," Obama told reporters in March. "I think that the weather should be good that time of year."
Team Obama did not immediately respond to a request for comment following Romney's interview.

Romney doesn't flaunt his wealth....give us an examploe On the other hand, Obama certainly flaunts his racism at every opportunity! Amazing that Obama found Hawaii has his "home" once the taxpayers started paying the $4 million tab for the to spend Xmas there. But...here's the main point that all the Obama lovers miss....Romney isn't our President and therefore he can take any vacation he wishes because he pays for all of it! DUH! Obama is spending MY money to send his wife to Spain, to the ski slopes, etc. Big difference!! By the way, do you know that Romney rescued the Olypmic games and his salary was $1? He gave his inheritance from his father away to charity because he wanted to suceed on his own. That's the type of man I want in the White House...not one who bows to the King of Saudia Arabia.

How many day was Romney out of Massachusetts when he was Governor? He was hardly here. Too busy planning to run for President. What will he do if he were to become President. Stay in his mansion in California counting his money?
It would be difficult for Obama to fill G.W. Bush's shoes when it comes to utilizing Camp David. Bush Jr. spent 487 days at Camp David (well over a year altogether!) on top of 490 days at his ranch in Texas. Not sure why Romney doesn't bother mentioning that. Also I don't really understand how Obama's daughter going to Mexico has any bearing on policy or governance. I would really like to know how the Romneys vacation habits compare to middle and lower-class Americans.
Romney is 100% buffoon and the very definition of a say anything/do anything to get elected politician. Mitt Romney is not even close to being worthy of representing this country as president. He is not a leader, he has no lasting convictions, and just is nothing more than a guy who happened to have more money than the rest.
Where back on the Presidential vacations again? How often did Reagan ride horses at his ranch in California? How often did Bush 1 go to Kennebunkport in four years? Bush 2 was at Crawford ranch so much they considered it the second White House. Do you really think Mr. Money Bags is not gonna go on vacation? Please!
Wow, Romney – really???? "Jetting around the world." Hmmmm....guess he does not understand that Hawaii is part of the U.S., huh? Also, Presidents SHOULD travel around the world so that they GAIN KNOWLEDGE about other cultures we work with – DUH.

Mitt was the Governor here in Massachusetts for 4 years. He was out of our state for almost 1/2 his term exploring his options for running for President. I don't think this guy has a leg to stand on.
Can't wait for the debates. Obama is going to make Romney look like an idiot. I'm not in love with Obama, but he's a great debater. And it seems like every accusation Romney makes about Obama is either completely false, or something that is even more true about Romney. It's gonna be fun to watch him stammer and try to out debate Obama.

Romney is showing what a small man he is by his comments. How many other Presidents have played golf during our recent history including Republicans. Eisenhower is the first one that in my lifetime I remember but I'm not that old so I don't know which others before him played that sport. What is surprising is that lots of business deals are done on golf courses and Romney cannot say he is not aware of that. He is now showing himself to be a petty man and if he thinks he is being funny, he cannot pull it off.
