Romney: Obama should 'suck it up'
(CNN) - Mitt Romney drew new contrasts with President Barack Obama on Wednesday by targeting the president's fondness for golf and vacations with his family.
The presumptive Republican presidential nominee said Obama's golf trips make him "scratch his head."

"I must admit, I scratch my head at the capacity of the president to take four hours off on such a regular basis to go golfing," Romney told WLW Radio in Cincinnati, responding to a question about the president's hobbies. "I would think you could kind of suck it up for four years particularly when the American people are out of work."
When asked about vacations taken by the Obama family, who travel to the president's native Hawaii annually, Romney said his family would not use four or eight years in the White House to "see the world." Instead, the former Massachusetts governor said he would frequent Camp David, the presidential retreat in the Catoctin Mountain Park of Frederick County, Maryland.
"I think one of the great resources that the president enjoys is Camp David," Romney said, after the host referenced a recent trip by Obama's eldest daughter Malia to Mexico. "I would anticipate if I were fortunate enough to become elected president that I'd be spending some time at Camp David, and my family and I would not be jetting around the world and using four years in office to see the world."
Obama has admittedly not used the grounds as much as his predecessors but is scheduled to host the G-8 summit there in May.
"Somebody pointed out that I hadn't had any of my counterparts, who I've worked with now for three years, up to Camp David," Obama told reporters in March. "I think that the weather should be good that time of year."
Team Obama did not immediately respond to a request for comment following Romney's interview.

From where did making frequent trips to his home state of Hawaii translate to travelling around the world ? This guy is so negative and pessimist, he would next complain that the president spends too much time with his daughters.

Another lie by Romney. He'll be on Air Force One at least 150 days a year, free transportation anywhere in the world for him and his wife. Mitt, just ask your spokesman Governor John Sununu, George the First's Chief of Staff, how it's done. He scammed the government for limousine transportation from DC to New York, air transportation back and forth for shopping and other personal trips, and NEVER was forced to pay the money back. Kind of like you, Mitt, made over $20 million and didn't work a day, then paid 15% in taxes. Wonder how much you wrote off in travel expenses?

Hey real American, it was more than just a couple of hundred miles, it was a trip from Massachusetts to Canada!!!! The dog got sick and Mitt just hosed him off and threw him back up on top of the car again...he was not stopping for anything! The dog then ran away just as soon as they got to Canada.

But, I did hear that when the one son noticed the dirty window, Mitt quickly pulled over and "hosed" Seamus down. How do you do that in the middle of the interstate? Do you think Mitt knows what that phrase, "hosed", means to many folks? Didn't Mitt say that he personally "hosed" down the dog? That's awful. No wonder the dog ran away.
George Bush spent more days in Crawford TX than he did in the White House. He was ALWAYS on vacation. President Obama rarely takes any time off except at Christmas to see his family in Hawaii. He plays golf on the weekends. A President NEVER is "off duty". Romney could not stand up to the working schedule of President Obama. Romney has always led a life of luxury from childhood to now. He doesn't know what real work or responsibility is. He lies as easily as he breathes. He cannot be trusted. His policies are one of total destruction of our nation – except for what would benefit his corporate buddies, Wall St buddies, and rich country club friends.
I stand with President Obama....who has worked non-stop for ALL Americans and turned our economy around, created jobs every month, and had tremendous success in foreign policy. He is a leader and he was born with real values.

These comments are hilarious considering Obama's predecessor set the record for most days vacationing by any president in history. Attacks like this suggest Romney has nothing tangible to actually criticize. There will be some true schadenfreude come November. Romney must not understand the stress related to a REAL JOB. I don't think he has the stamina for a 24/7 job. He'd probably start crying like Boehner.
President Obama works very hard and if he wants to take a couple hours off to go golf and relax, he deserves to.
BTW, President Obama golfs with staffers, US trade representatives, press aids, VP Biden, members of Congress (Boehner), among others. I'm sure their discussing policy and in other ways working, at the least in building communication and relationships. Nothing wrong with that.

For all of you Obama supporters. I think it is time for you to get your head out of his butt and look at what he has done to the country. Let us see here. He has been in for almost four years the economy is in worse shape than when Bush was in office. The decline started in 2008, oh when Pelosi and Reid took over Congress. His stimulus has not worked, Solendra tanked, he ordered a moritorium on drilling which cost jobs, as well as not allowing the Pipeline through the US to go through, thus causing more loss of jobs. Since the Democrats and Obama have taken the deficit had quadrupled, if you go to the CBO website you will find that his Obamacare is going to add almost 1Trillion more to the deficit (he stated it wouldn't add a dime), I can go on and on here.
Oh and by the way for those of you going on about Romney and the dog that was 1983, why don't you read Obama's book and find out just how good the dog he ate in Indonesia tasted.
