Win a date with Clooney?
(CNN) - For those who have always dreamed of an evening with George Clooney, the president may have the hook up - that is, if you donate to his campaign.
President Barack Obama's re-election team is offering a chance for two supporters to attend a fundraiser with the president and Clooney at the actor's pad in Los Angeles on May 10.

"You, you heard it right, dinner with President Obama…at George Clooney's house. Pretty incredible, right?" Julianna Smoot, deputy campaign manager, said in an email to supporters on Thursday.
A longtime Obama supporter, Clooney recently made headlines in the political world after testifying before Congress on the situation in South Sudan. He also made a stop by the White House while in Washington to discuss the ongoing crisis with the president.
The following day, the celebrity was arrested along with his father and others while protesting outside the Sudanese embassy. He was released with a $100 fine a few hours later.
Clooney began offering his star power in 2007 during Obama's first presidential bid, calling the then-Illinois senator a "rock star."

Clooney makes way more sense than Nugent ever has.
Obama proves again he is an excellent salesman, he knows how to sell himself, he knows how to captivate people. Obama is a true showman. He can put on a show like noone else can, anyone would be willing to buy a ticket to his show. Obama is a show and Clooney is a show himself. There's not much substance to Clooney as we all know he does everything for admiration, never seen anyone so in love with himself, poor guy and yes Obama is a rock star, he too loves admiration.
Hey, whatever happened to Clooney's emergency with the people of Sudan???? Let me guess, Clooney got a little more famous and a little more attention when he got arrested and now he is a satisfied man so there goes the emergency with Sudan. Wow, no wonder he is such good friends with Obama, must be hard to have two big heads, 2 huge egos in the same room.
I'm not a Clooney fan but I like the hook.
Maybe Mittens can get Ted Nugent to agree to something similar....say, ten paces at dawn. That should be a big draw.

George Clooney is a humanitarian who uses his fame and gives his time to help poor people who live in terrible conditions. He does not have to do this. He has a heart and is compassionate. He is also extremely intelligent, witty and kind. Kind of easy on the eye, too. Humanitarian and liberals go hand in hand. I haven't met too many Tea Party humanitarians. Obama//Biden 2012.
