Interactive: Who will run with Romney?

(CNN) - With the Republican presidential race all but over, the focus shifts to presumptive nominee Mitt Romney's choice of a running mate. Here's a list of those who have generated some buzz. But Romney's got a while to vet his list - Barack Obama announced Joe Biden two days before the 2008 Democratic Convention while John McCain named Sarah Palin three days before Republicans gathered.

Check out a CNN interactive HERE.

If Romney becomes President, will he be sworn in with his hands on the Mormon bible. Last Mormon I spoke to believed Jesus was a prophet, nothing more.

Better choose someone flexible, Mitt. Maybe someone who doubles as a contortionist would help, given how consistent you are....

Who would want to try and deflect the questions regarding Romney's many differing positions on critical issues? Romney has no platform so the entire campaign will be about negative ads of the "swift boat" variety – all lies and fear. ANybody with a future won't want to tie their name to this loser.

That's easy – no one who wants to have a future career in politics. I doubt most of these folks are chomping at the bit to be on a losing ticket.

Since Romney would feel threatened by anyone more charismatic, intelligent, or likeable than he is, the RNC is going to have to start raiding Coroner's offices all over the U.S., and looking up good taxidermists on Angie's List...

So far everyone asked ( Rubio, Pawlenty, Jeb) is passing the buck and naming someone else. These guys don't want to be stuck on a losing campaign spoliling their 2016 chances. Mitt's speed dating will continue to find some less bland than he is. Maybe Scott Walker, he will be free in June after the recall.

I'll say it again. Romney's delivery is like Rodney Dangerfield's, without the laughs. He needs someone with an ENORMOUS amount of charisma for a running mate

I Bishop Willard Romney, Head Tabby Nackle of Boston announce as my VP JACK MORMON Rubio. Dont worry LDS I will convert him back & we both can get sworn in by putting our hands on the PLYG church of the fake bible & not the Real CHRISTIAN Bible.

Bad choice. I'm surprised at you. Have I been giving you too much credit for enlightened thinking and decision making?

An established Washington insider would never work, as it would only lend credence to the picture Democrats have been casually painting of Romney as being the "quid pro quo" politician. Besides, the Tea Party would never accept him. Just watch. If Kyl is not on the ticket, the Tea Party will run a primary challenger against him should he decide to run for the Senate again, just like Lugar.

I'm just curious why it's up to Joel Osteen to declare if someone is a Christian or not. I guess he thinks he's God.
