Obama makes cover of Rolling Stone
(CNN) – Seemingly continuing his attempt this week to resonate with younger voters, President Obama professed his admiration for comedian Jon Stewart and the television show Homeland in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine hitting newsstands later this week.
The interview's release comes at the end of Obama’s two day trip to three colleges, during which he pressed Congress to stem off an expected increase in student loan interest rates. The president also appeared on comedian Jimmy Fallon’s show and participated in a sketch with the popular late night talk show host. It all appears to be an effort to drum up support with younger voters, a demographic that were among the president’s most fervent supporters in 2008.

What's wrong with Rolling Stone? The editors at the Rolling Stone pick whomever and whatever they want to be on their cover and in their articles. Conservatives didn't have any complaints when the embedded reporter started quoting generals making remarks that ran counter to administration policy.
Dignified? Do you feel that the POTUS should always act like royalty or something? Act more like a Romney?
I thought our nations young were the point of reducing the budget deficits...you know leave the country better than the generation before!! Better health care, water quality,air quality,transportation,education... ect.ect. Our young are our future...so the president better speak to them.
It may take years for the world to give credit to Obama....Did you watch PBS last night...Obama had major role in keeping this country and the world from going down the RABBIT HOLE......

Gas prices have dropped recently and no one is getting "free birth control and abortion from their bosses." Rolling Stone didn't pick Romney, they picked President Obama for the cover of their magazine because President Obama has the ability to relate to people and not look down his nose on others who are not as fortunate as he is.

Rolling Stone didn't pick Romney because they want to help Obama win a 2nd term since they are obviously Democrat. Why would a Democrat magazine help a Republican win the presidential election? Don't think Obama would appreciate that one.
Wow that shows how out of touch Obama really is. Jon Stuart is totally not an Obama fan and takes every opportunity to rip on him. It's sad that the Daily show on comedy central and even Rolling Stone magazine are more reliable news sources than the MSM. It's going to take more than the cover of Rolling Stone to convince the youth. The really bad part about this for Obama is he just put himself on the cover of a magazine that has also been disgraced with the image of clowns like emenem and lil wayne (obamas heroes). Whatever momentum he picks up from this publicity stunt will be dwarfed by the damage he has done to his image with the older voters. In 2008 Obama promised change. End the wars: fail. fix the deficit: fail. close guantanimo bay: fail. balance the budget: fail. end the patriot act: fail. immigration reform: fail. What is he going to tell people now? Oh yeah he'll blame it all on George W. after he insisted and promised he was going to be the one to undo all of the Bush damage. Where's the change you promised Mr. president? So far all we have seen is a continuation of the Bush policies particularly when it comes to the illegal wars we are in. Who's going to fix all the Obama damage? Romney? Seriously? We are screwed!!!

Myviews – Obviously, President Obama realizes that you have to do more then look down your nose at people when you want to talk to them. Romney needs to learn how to talk to the citizens of this country with respect for their intelligence and without looking like he just smelled something bad.

@livingston- you are so correct, Obama's intelligence level is no higher than Rolling Stone magazine, Jon Stewart and Jimmy Fallon and that is why Obama has such an easy time talking to the less intelligent of our country and why our economy is in such trouble. In other words, what you're saying is that the less intelligent are running our country. I agree with you, thank you, good point.
