Video: Axelrod on Joe Biden's comments: 'That is the president's policy'

(CNN) - A day after Vice President Joe Biden said he was "absolutely comfortable" with same-sex marriage, David Axelrod explained to CNN's Piers Morgan there was no difference in Biden's views and the views of President Barack Obama.

"I feel, Piers, that on the policy that the vice president was describing there, that they are in complete accord," Axelrod, Obama's campaign senior strategist, said. "That is the president's policy. He believes that couples, heterosexual couples, – gay couples should – should have – have the same legal rights. So what the vice president was stating there was very much in keeping with that policy."

VP Biden spoke from the heart and I completely agree with his statement on what is important is that are you with the person you love. No one should be judged or denied their rights or discriminated against because a hypocritical "Christian" Republican wants to tell everyone how to live their life but yet claim to be against "big government". Are there any honest, credible Republicans? No and that is why we need to clean out the House and remove all Republicans from every local, state, and national office so America can recover our democracy and Republicans can go figure out who they are and find a soul.

Let's go to work Axelrod and take them down, one by one because that's exactly why he's the best at what he does, keeping the GOP disoriented and confused, it doesn't take much.

My biggest concern is Gay Illegals getting married here in the USA , then having children !

This would hurt our struggling economy and create uncertainty in regards to morality and equal pay .

  5. WHAT!?!?!

Biden said he was for gay marriage. Axelrod is not saying the same thing. Obama does not favor gay MARRIAGE, he is in favor of CIVIL UNIONS (which is NOT equal). Even CNN has another article where the White House (through Jay Carney) has distanced itself from the comments made by Biden and Duncan.

Were you expecting anything different from from Mr. Axle-Rod?! He and the rest of the president's misguided, spiked Kool Aid drinking supporters will do and say anything just to improve Mr. Obama's sinking poll numbers.

My beloved Democratic party has become a shameful skeleton of itself. Hijacked by lying hypocrites who DO NOT have, and will never have, the best interests of America at heart.

    Shame, shame...
