Clinton addresses 'au naturale' moment
(CNN) – Hillary Clinton laughed off the perpetual conversation over her appearance that landed in the spotlight once again Monday when a picture of her sporting glasses sans make-up made the rounds on the internet.
"I feel so relieved to be at the stage I'm at in my life right now," the secretary of state told CNN Foreign Affairs Correspondent Jill Dougherty in an interview. "Because you know if I want to wear my glasses I'm wearing my glasses. If I want to wear my hair back I'm pulling my hair back. You know at some point it's just not something that deserves a lot of time and attention."

"And if others want to worry about it, I let them do the worrying for a change," Clinton added.
Clinton appeared without makeup, except lipstick, wearing thick rimmed glasses during a recent news conference in Dhaka, Bangladesh as part of a trip to promote democracy abroad.
The image of the former New York senator with longer hair landed on The Drudge Report with the caption "Hillary Au Naturale." Clinton appeared throughout her presidential bid in 2008 with short hair and pants suits, often the subject of ridicule. Since assuming her top state department post, Clinton has varied her wardrobe and her light locks now hit at her shoulders.

I've been telling my Wife for years to let go of the keep up with sally sue crap. throw away the makeup grow her hair (for Me) put on her sweat paints and come work in the garden. Hillary, you go girl. bet Bill's a happyer man too. its time we stopped stamping barbie in side every little girls brain in this country. its just not why a man falls for the right one in the first place. wish you women would just quit beating your selfs up with this. its just not why We love you.
That picture was a perfect reflection of who she is, 'a sixty-five-ish gay woman who has worked for many years under a lot of different pressures that most of us have never known."
I am and always have been a Hillary Clinton admirer. She seems to be an intelligent and capable woman who, if had not been robbed of the nomination of her party would have made a great President...as opposed to........
I like her work, don't give a damn what she looks like.

She actually looks pretty good without makeup. Pardon to say but – and at her age no less.

I've always preferred women who look good without makeup. You know what? She does. Where is the respect Drudge? Oh, I forgot, that's not your thing.
But the question of the day is: Why does Hitlary always wear pants?
Hillary looks great. What a concept – being herself ! She looks more attractive and "real" than I've ever seen her before.

What's under that head of hair is what counts and that's what a lot of people lack, smarts. In McCain/Palin 2008 run, Americans saw a lot of hair, fancy glasses and no smarts.
Never really took Big H on her looks, she is uglier than home-made soap...but I would rather have her in the Oval office than this clown we have in there now.

I guess if you really think stylish glasses and perfect makeup are important you could always have Sarah Palin.
One thing I have observed about Hillary Clinton is that she is usually focused on things that are important, and she is spot on right about this subject as she usually is about most issues. She is an island of sense in an increasingly superficial political world. You Go Hillary!

What jobe performance? what has she done? Flying around the world on the tax-payer's dime looking busy does not mean she has accomplished anything. And Drudge was not insulting her, unless your insulted by women without make-up.

Considering she's a grandma, she don't look bad at all. I wish more women would stop with the facepainting routine. I much prefer the look of an untouched face.
