BLITZER'S BLOG: Where Romney, Obama agree on gay rights

(CNN) – President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney now completely disagree on the sensitive issue of same-sex marriage.

But they apparently do agree that the elimination of the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy barring homosexuals from serving openly in the U.S. military is fine.

This clearly denotes they both are in the same boat of gay marriage is concerned. Well, lot of industrialized nations are legalizing, we are stupidly spinning this issue.

The economy, of course, remains issue No. 1 going forward.

Advantage: Romney. The economy was issue No.1 in the historic 2008 elections. It has gotten worse. We are now $5 trillion broker as a nation and unemployment is still much higher. The American voters gave Obama 100% support in 2008. What did he do with it? He quickly pursued his partisan agenda. But he forgot to improve the economy. At all.

Anyone who is thinking economy is number one issue is not thinking on his own, just hearing what the media is talking about. Who in normal thinking, thinks the economy will change as soon as they wish if god forbid Romney is elected president. This is not going to happen even if those who prays, can pray every minute from now until the election day. The economy has gone horrible every corner of the world and whoever the president will be come Nov., is not going to come with any miracle. Just get it folks, and don't buy it from a person who says I have worked in a private sector and I know how it works and I will fix it. It is just only words!

There is only one one choice: Mitt Romney. Gays issues should of have been resolved 4 years ago when Obama run for office. But, now that he has made a mess wants gays support. No way jose! Mr. Obama is done. Next please.

  9. The REAL Truth...

The economy would take care of itself if we could just get the Grand Obstructionist Party out of the loop. The party of no- no viable candidate, no platform, no policies, no compromise, no reality and no chance in Nov... hahahahahaha

    @ Four and the Door......

so you say the economy has gotten WORSE since Obama took office? Not the facts I have seen. Even your pal Romney admits the economy is getting better. But like most of you he says Obama should get NO credit for it. He only gets BLAME of course when things are bad. How many jobs did GW Bush add to the economy monthly? If you Republicans would agree to stop cutting public sector jobs the UE rate would be closer to 7 than it is over 8. Public sector jobs increased under every POTUS so far but Obama....wonder why that is?
