Obama's Seattle campaign swing

(CNN) – Before President Barack Obama heads to the Los Angeles home of actor George Clooney for a big money fundraiser Thursday night, he will headline two campaign events in Seattle.

The president is expected to attend a fundraising brunch with 70 supporters at a private home in Seattle Thursday afternoon, according to a campaign official. Tickets for the event cost $17,900 per person.

Later, he will deliver remarks at a fundraising reception, with 1,800 people in attendance at the historic Paramount Theater in the downtown area of Emerald City. Dave Matthews is expected to perform at the second event, tickets for which started at $1,000 per person.

Proceeds from the events will go toward the Obama Victory Fund, a joint fundraising committee of the president's re-election campaign, the Democratic National Committee, and several state Democratic parties.

Just who the heck are all these high priced leftists supporting Obama? Are they all Execs from "green energy" companies like Solyndra looking to line their pockets at our expense again?

I believe that Washington state is a state that is about to join the ranks of legalizing same sex marriage.

Go for every penny you can get Mr. President. We are not going to allow those who dismantled our economy to take it over again. It doesn't make any sense at all!

Once again, American politics is battle of the rich guys and their PAC's, like last time. You remember Obama is traveling on Air force One. His biggest "donor" currently is the tax payer. His big money raising is all saved up for later.

Maybe I will vote 3rd party this time like many others.

Lets see round trip from DC to Seattle is probably 12 hours at a cost to tax payers of $180,000 per hour, so that's $2.16 million tax dollars spent for him to go raise money for his re-election. America are you listening?
