Christie to fund-raise for Romney

(CNN) – New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie will appear at a Tuesday fund-raiser in New York with Mitt Romney, Romney's campaign told CNN on Monday.

The appearance with Christie comes amid a three-day string of fund-raisers in New York and Connecticut, which Romney’s national finance chairman predicted at a Monday afternoon event would "raise more than $10 million and potentially substantially more than that.”

Known for his bluntness, Christie has previously hit the campaign trail for Romney and other GOP candidates.

While he has professed to have "no interest" in joining Romney atop the GOP ticket, Christie said late last month that Romney "might be able to convince" him to run as his vice presidential candidate.

Christie endorsed Romney prior to the first GOP primary and has fund-raised with Romney before.

Looks like Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum to me. I wouldn't pay to listen to either one of them, although I might pony up a few bucks to watch Christie eat......that must be something to see!

Chris "Krispy Kreme" Christie can go around beating the money out of people, but it still won't be enough to help DimWit Mitt win.

He wants to raise money? Put his corpulent butt in a dunking tank. It will splash dry every time 'slim' hits the water.

Romney is a pathetic rube. Christie outshines him like the sun outshines the moon. How could Christie even have any respect for him after his Op-ed piece in the Chicago Tribune begging NATO members to let him in the sandbox to play because he would be better for NATO, while castigating them at the same time. Thank God for our POTUS who displayed genuine leadership and class over the entire weekend in guiding the G8 and NATO to profitable, calming and defining policies for the world. Romney, what a pathetic rube!

►Christie said late last month that Romney "might be able to convince" him to run] about a mile a day passing every Burger King and McDonald in his route so that maybe, just maybe, he would be fit to be on a LOSING team and after November, he can go back to walking and stopping at every Burger King and McDonald.

Mittens is not sure what he said, but whatever it was, he will stand behind it? That has not been the case for the flip flopper thus far.

If businessman Mittens uses his background at Bain to fix the United States, we will see the end of the 'red' nanny states, as they will be sold to Mexico and China.

Mixed feelings of him joining the ticket; should they win, it gets Christie out of the state. That leads to the problem of him helping to screw up the rest of the country. Well, I guess that since Christie isn't in the state much to begin with.

Christie is pretty unpredictable. However, I think we can safely rule out bake-sales as part of any Christie led fundraiser.

it is good that Christie is finding something productive to do, as he will probably be out of work in a couple of years. Maybe Mitt will remember this and get him a job running a Burger King franchise someplace.

Too fat to run. Then again, he couldn't walk 100 yards after using a NJ state helicopter to attend a child's soccer game.
Didn't he also have a bit of a problem not too long ago which they hid from us about what was really wrong. Looking at him we can only guess.
