Obama campaign targets Romney's record as governor

Washington (CNN) – The Obama campaign is targeting Mitt Romney's record not just in private business but now his public sector job as well-part of an effort to undermine his credibility.

"As governor he slashed funding for education, worker training and manufacturing and vetoed legislation that would have prevented outsourcing," said campaign spokesman Ben LaBolt.

Double-whammy! Rmoney can't run on his record as governor or at Bain. Pretty soon our desperate girl Flipper will be pathetically blubbering "buh-buh-buh-THE OLYMPICS!" like a dumbfounded child pretending to know something.

Good thing Mittens used 100s of thousands of MA taxpayer money to have his record as governor wiped from the computers and files then, huh? Whew. I mean, leave a record behind? Yeah right...he's running for office for Pete's sake.

Poor record as govenor. Shady private-sector record. Expensive haircut. No personal skills.

Wait, I though it was against the law for G. Bush to run for president again!

Man, the GOP has their recipe for FAILURE down pat. And they keep throwing it at us, like a bunch of monkeys flinging their excrement against the cage wall. And the [R] true-believers sit there at the wall with their mouths open, and minds closed.

Robmey was the worst governor we ever had and we've had some bad ones and I have voted for two other Republican governors who both won. I did not vote for Robmey and never will unless it's for some kind of position that will remove him from public disservice forever.

He also destroyed the commission charged with educating the public about school bullying issues, particulalry against gay students, and to create programs to he those students cope with the trauma of being bullied. But hey, at least it's the one thing he can claim to have remained consistent on since high school.

It is about time. Mittens was a failure as a governor, and the truth needs to be told.

As well he should. Romney can not run on that record either. Interesting how he steers clear of the one role in government he has had, that in most cases, would be considered an asset. However, he has either contradicted everything he ever did in MA. or is so embarrassed of his "moderate" stances, that he chooses to omit that from his stump speeches and reasons for wanting the presidency. A flip-flopping, pandering, empty suit. I can not wait for November.

    Go Team Obama!

We ALL know Willard can't handle pressure and often comes off as UNprepared and UNable to answer ANY questions related to HIS "claim of competence" to be POTUS. Yet another subject Willard refuses to talk about but sooner or later, he will get backed into a corner and the American people will demand more of an answer than Obama this and Obama that. They will want to know exactly what the former governor did or did not do that got him BOOTED when he tried to run again. Stick it to him!

Romney's fraudulent, false representation of being a job creator is now exposed. The job growth of Massachusetts under Romney as governor was in the toilet.

"Romney can not run on that record either."

Mittens can't even run on Obama's record. Run on it? No. Step on it? Yes. He's pretty much invented a whole new straw man record for Obama so that he can criticize it...barely any of his criticisms are objectively accurate. He ignores the actual job creation. He ignores the millions arlready being helped by the ACA. He ignores the expert economists saying that the Stimulus worked. He ignores pretty much everything so he can fabricate something else that he can then fling turds at. In similar fashioni, he very much destroyed much of the record of his governorship, so he can't really run on his record...he'll just invent a new one and "nanner nanner poo poo you can't prove it cuz all the paper trail is gone."

Massachusettes was 47th out of 50 states for job creation under Romney. If Romney could not increase the job growth rate in one single small state, how can he possibly improve the working conditons in all fifty? Something just doesn't add up.

Wow, you guys are really proud of trashing Romney and you fail to realize that Obama wouldn't know about a governor's job because he was never even a mayor or city manager. Seriously, Obama can't run on his record if you guys are honest of his big financial mistakes but you won't be honest. That's okay, people will remember Obama's inexperience and favoritism with his wealthy, rich friends and not caring that he lost us $535 million when voting comes.

This coming from Obama who's never been a governor, a mayor, a city manager, a business owner, a businessman. He does remember he was a professor, author, community organizer and lawyer who never dealt with budgets, taxes, jobs, security, infrastructure, investments, law, education, etc.... Obama's people do remember this man had no experience?

Romney as Gov sort of like his peresonality...lukewarm. Romney as CEO is hot but business and government economics are not even in the same grocery bag. Apples and Oranges.

Romney doesn't come out to play as much as he did in the primaries, hmm I wonder why? Has the bully met his match lol

And he never ever talks abour his term as governor, I wonder why? No job creation to boast about lol

Mittens if you can't run on your record, why are you running for the POTUS? Hmm I guess you and Ann really nelieve its your turn huh? Because your privileged, entitled, hmm wonder which one is it?

Everyone seems to forget how Obama gave money to Solyndra, which in turn went out of business, guess he is not as savvy as Romney. Bain Capital has turned companies around, grant you some went out of business. But at least Romney did not waste tax payers dollars like Obama has.

Bout time they go after that pathetic record of Romney's as governor. By the way, where's his taxe returns for the last 6 years while he's been running for president? When was that blind trust set up? Who actually made the decision to park all those millions offshore so they didn't have to pay taxes on them.

Boy,President Obamas got Romney in a corner on two issues and he wants to distance himself on both.Romney as governor of Massachusetts,a big corporation led state was 47th in job creation nationwide and then at Bain destroying peoples jobs, pensions and lives all in one, doesn't sound good either way,I'd run if I were him,to the hills. If people research intelligently they'd see there's very little truth to his job creation myths he's been running on recently. After building more debt on corporations, then leaving them to go thru bankruptcy court, losing employees pensions, healthcare, lives, jobs that were sometimes handed down from father to son,go to waste because Bain and Romney cared more for his investors, shareholders, than the lifes blood of these corporations ,the employees...They'll never forget ,I assure you!!

"you can't talk about my record as governer OR when I was at Bain. But Obama bad" just about sums up Flippy's campaign so far.

You mean Romney actually has experience as a leader and the private sector? 🙂

What have you done to bring jobs back home Obama?

I've noticed that Romney has avoided all the major network's Sunday morning news shows that would force him to give an account of his record at Bain Capital, his record as governor of Massachusetts, and to produce a plan in full detail on how he would turn the economy around. However, he lives on Faux News spreading his false propaganda.

You can't SOMETIMES believe what BO say. If he swept MA primaries and during and after April 24 primaries, why punch over records?

It's funny how you libs attack him on his record. What record did Obama have b4 he was voted into office. What record does he have now other than he is the only sitting president to never have a budget. Also, who said life is fair everyone has a right to public education nobody said I had a right to college even though I went and made something of myself (btw I earned and paid for my own college. It is time people understand that not everyone has the capability of being millionaires.
