(CNN) – Asked in an interview Thursday what letter grade he'd assign President Barack Obama, GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney answered unequivocally.
"Oh an 'F', there's no question about that," Romney said in the CBS News interview, saying the grade was for issues "across the board."

Even factoring in the decision to kill Osama bin Laden, which he said he "appreciated," Romney said his grade would remain the same.
"When I look at foreign policy, when I look across the board in foreign policy, I look at the fact that he was looking to have a force of American troops staying in Iraq securing what was so hard to have been won there with a status of forces agreement. He failed to achieve it. I look at what's happening in the Middle East. The Arab Spring has become the Arab Winter, That's hardly a success."
Responding to Romney's interview, Obama's re-election campaign released a statement from former Ambassador to India Tim Roemer, who called Romney's assessment "misguided."
"Governor Romney's comment assigning a grade to President Obama's foreign policy is just as misguided and misinformed as his statement about Russia being our top geopolitical foe," Roemer wrote. "Since taking office, President Obama has responsibly ended the war in Iraq; decimated al-Qaeda's leadership, including Osama bin Laden; is winding down the war in Afghanistan; reduced the threat of nuclear weapons; strengthened our alliances; increased our exports overseas, creating jobs here at home; and led the world in putting crippling sanctions on Iran. Gov. Romney is out of the mainstream even of his own party on foreign policy, and many prominent Republican experts have recognized President Obama's accomplishments on these issues."

I give Mitt Romney an F for Fool and a I for Incomplete resume. All this boring jib jab coming from someone who thinks we are still waging war against the Soviet Union and vows to stay an eternity in Iraq a war that had no winners or purpose!
What a poor excuse for a nominee!

Romney gets an F Mass from 31 to 47 and Bain over 100'000 fired. PLEASE!!!b
Ask Romney if he is willing to donate all of his $200 to $300 million to pay off USA debt but he can keep his $10 million so in that way we can see if he truely cares about our country.
I'd give him a F minus if there's one. Probably. A big, huge, hunka dunka, smacka F minus. Foreign policy is E minus.
He appreciates the killing of bin Laden, but still gives Obama an F. Romney's getting richer by the day (check out his tax record) but Obama gets an F on the economy. Romney says Obama isn't creating jobs so another F. When Romney was at Bain, creating and saving jobs was at the bottom of his list, but he gives himself an A. Obama saved GM and thousands of jobs and for this Romney gives him an F. Romney admits he wouldn't have helped GM or the thousands of employees, but he gives himself an A. Hundreds of lives have been spared due to pulling out of Iraq, so for this Romney gives Obama an F, no terrorists threats have come out of Iraq since pulling out, but another F. Gas prices go up Obama gets an F. Gas prices go down....crickets. Hmmm, Romney's grading system gets an F! Wake up Romney followers, you are being dupped!
Romney spent less time as governor of Massachusetts than Palin did in Alaska.
Who the heck threw Mitty that softball question? Arab spring has become Arab winter? Mittens is off his meds.
Romney is a rather hard grader . Maybe his just picks favorits instead of those that strive for higher values.
Romney Harverd ?
An F! Romney has no shame. He'll say anything, do anything, accept anyone's endorsement, pander to anyone to try to become President. We don't need a rich, spoiled liar as the country's leader.
Romneys campaign staements on Foreign polict would get us back in to Major and more wars re-create the cold war with Russia etc his grade is Z-.

An "F" really? The guy who tracked down and eliminated America's biggest enemy, saved the US auto industry and repaired our image to the entire world deserves this kind of smug reaction? Romney is obviously impolite and lacks the dignity and character to be president.
...and this is why the republican brand is damaged and will be for the foreseeable future. to read this article, Romney says that President Obama has failed on issues "across the board." Really? How sad this guy is to say that our President, has failed this country. Ask the GM workers; ask women who has their best interest in mind; ask wall street how is it that they've recorded record earning; as the number 2 terrorist (if you can find him) if the President is doing a good job. I'm not a Democrat, but to say that this President is a failure is ludicrous and sounds like something Fox News would put out.
America will grade Mitt McCain on November 6 IF he makes it that far.
When the public starts paying attention, they'll see through ALL or Romney's lies, and he'll go back into obscurity where he belongs.
I think Mitt is being a tad generous.
LOL!! The Cranbrook bully assigning grades. It smacks of insincerity since #1 he followed Willard's blueprint for the nation (Willard's own words) for the ACA. Flippy's campaign merits an F- perhaps all the way down to an X (for eXcruciatingly poor).
Willard is not good enough to carry Obama's used sweat socks.
Sorry Romney but you're the F in this equation. I'm sure you gave Bush an A even though you tanked the economy. Your Romney Economics just wont work
Obama 2012
Romney is being childish.
I wonder how he would rate the Obstructionist Republican Party of Liars, Murderers, and War Criminals.
Keep talking, bully/coward. You will lose in November.
