Castro's daughter: I want an Obama win

(CNN) – Mariela Castro, the daughter of Cuban President Raul Castro, said she would like President Barack Obama to win a second term as president.

"As a citizen of the world, I would like him to win," Castro told CNN's Christiane Amanpour in an interview set to air Monday. "Seeing the candidates, I prefer Obama."

Castro, an LGBT rights activist in Cuba and the niece of former president Fidel Castro, said she believes Obama to be a "fair man," adding that he needs increased support.

"If Obama counted on the full support of the American people, then we can normalize the relationships; we can have better relations than what we had under President Carter," Castro said.

Castro's Daughter is just the type that would want an Obama win. Anything to bring down America is what Cuba yearns for. Obama's supporters are coming from that type of play book.
As for me and my family, We want to keep America from loseing our Liberties and Freedoms, and stop the path to look like the dictatorship in Cuba.

Sonnie...so...who was it that put the PATRIOT Act in place? And how many fredoms and liberties did we lose in the name of "security"? And what liberties/freedoms exactly has Obama taken away, how exactly are we on a path to look like a communist dictatorship nation?

Dem for Romney: Please explain how he is the worst president ever? Independant thoughts, and not Rush/Beck-isms please. I don't particularly like him, think he screwed the pooch on health care (actually, I really blame pelosi and reid on that one), but that doesn't make him the worst president ever...so, if someone wants to lay that claim, back it up with historical facts against the other horrible presidents (Harding, Pierce, Grant, Bush, Nixon, Carter, etc, etc, etc.)

A " citizen of the world" can see more clearly than an agenda driven citizen of self- interest....don't care if she's from Cuba or China or Kentucky!!!!

it seems that someone people just hate the President Obama so much that they hardly think of goods things he has done for this great country. The haters prefer a candidate that will set us back to 16th century to current president. Personally i prefer Obama, he's the only president that will dig the country out of this gopteapublican pary's mess.

The republican party are cowards, they need to cling to false and unattainable promises. Their whole campaign is built around fear, gloom and doom. They prey on the weak and uninformed. By using the dog eat dog mantra, they turn, who would and should be allies against each other. The republican leadership, will find the slightest difference between would be allies, like race, religion and gender and use it to separate and conquer. Look at the world canvas, every one is rising up overthrowing the "greedy bottom line is profit, corporate demon dogs", everyone and everywhere, except for america. Most of the leadership in Congress were put in place by the 1% and are the gate keeper, no longer will there be a bridge, that will guarantee the american dream. Obama is not the problem, congress is, mainly the republican house and senate. Obama is the baby drowning in the dirty bathwater of congress. Keep the baby but throw out the bath water. Period.

Ha! The liberals love to say that Obama isn't a communist yet here he is being endorsed by a communist! This is just like how they claim that Obama's not a Muslim yet he hates Christianity, bows the the Saudi king and says that Islam is a "beautiful religion". Liberals never were good at seeing obvious facts that are staring them right in the face!

Not only people from outside their choice is NOT Romney, but also republicans are not sold to him. Without going anywhere, just have a glance at the the corner of this site. Almost 300,000 people who voted in Texas last week, didn't vote for Romney. This is the huge number!

Blinders off the House and Senate were both controlled by Dems for the 1st 21/2 years. Funny how you blame Republicans. This is the Obama economy. You know President Downgrade who's friends and supporters are the 1% you keep complaining about.

I'll bet Mitt Romney $10,000 that if Pres. Obama wins re-election, that the Nobel Prize committee will give the American people another Nobel for not electing a Republican, and Pres. Obama will have to go pick it up for us again.

Repubs have Communists in their own party. When you look at what the Republican govenors in Michigan, Ohio AND Wisconsin have been doing, you would know that they are the ones that fit that description.
As for, Cuba, relationship with them will improve after the big kahuna, 'Communist', Fidel dies, along with his failed policy. We should be the ones helping them to join the rest of the Americas in democratic prosperity and freedom. Unless, you want Communist China to become their new best friend??

Nothing will cure the stupidity of right-wingers. But a civil war would certainly help. They need to be eradicated like the cancer they are.

Americans really do not give this man enough credit. Then again, this country has never been the one to stand up for their own. Shameful
