New York (CNNMoney) - Mitt Romney promised members of the nation's small business lobby on Wednesday that, if elected, he would shut down health care reform, reduce taxes and tackle regulations.
The presumptive Republican presidential nominee said small business has not thrived as it could have since the recession because of President Obama's policies, which he called "collectively anti-business, anti-investment, and anti-jobs."

Regulations? So you can ship more business oversees? Let's ask China if they are ready for more of our business'.
I can guarantee that those posting comments against this very good article are not business owners and have no idea what it takes to run a business. Romney only makes sense to business owners. Unless you are the Accounts Payable Specialist/Clerk in a business employees have no idea what it takes to pay the bills.
"You'll be able to keep more of your capital and hire more people," Romney said. "My priority is jobs, getting people back to work, having such competition for employees that wages go up again."

This in a very quick way shows a fundamental understanding of the biggest hurdle to most small businesses for hiring. Capital. That's it absolutely! For a small business to make a commitment to hire another employee, the greatest worry is having the capital available to make payroll.
Obama thinks putting money in the hands of customers is supposed to get small businesses hiring again. Maybe this misconception comes from always having been the customer and never having been the business. It's a completely different perspective and doesn't quite work that way in the real world.
Fortunately Mitt Romney knows how the real world works. And it's 2012 and he's the Republican nominee.
its called dip into your employees pension and health care fund
We've heard all these promises before. Promises and follow through are anothre.
Wow. Ever hear of the Small Business Administration?
Mr. Promises tell me something I like and I will vote for you or how about giving me Alaska or Alabama for my birthday?
Romney is a hypocrite .
Romney ask Romney for a loan to build you company , he will end up owning it , then selling it off.
Exactly what will Mr. Romney do. The so-called need to strengthen the military requires money. Aiding small business costs money. Health care costs money but then the Republicans do not feel that people have a right to have the benefits of health insurance. Teachers, firemen, policemen and others who have government jobs will see their benefits cut and their pensions greatly diminished.
Sorry Willard the liar, but the ONLY reason why there is slow hiring, is because America is worried you and your domestic terrorist GOP pals are going to default on our credit AGAIN, and cause the downturn to worsen. The FACT is, is that the GOP and Romney despise working-class Americans. 30+ years of statistical data PROVES it.
Careful Mitt,it will take a whole lot of undoing Obama has severly crippled small bussinesses with over regulation! Just look at FMCSA there's a prime example doin their best to put small bussiness truckers out of bussiness!
This guy is way beyond tiresome... All you do, Mitt is blame, blame, blame....
That is great that he thinks he can help small business. I don't think that he could really get anything done to help them no matter where he is.
