Obama's new hashtag: #dontdoublemyrate

Las Vegas (CNN) – President Barack Obama is trying to use social media to push his proposal to prevent interest rates on student loans from doubling at the end of the month.

While speaking to a crowd of 2,500 on the campus of University of Nevada-Las Vegas, he urged students Thursday to put pressure on Congress by writing on members' Facebook walls, and tweeting with the hashtag #dontdoublemy rate.

I think instead of sending money to WARS, student loan rate needs curtailed. GOP nasty idiots better learn. Senate republican idiots put hurdles on EQUAL PAY for WOMEN. Fight back. Yes, on OBAMA12. Period.

It shouldn't be that hard to raise the taxes of the rich to cover this. The GOP doesn't care about this really. They can't seperate themselves from ideology to be practical.

This matter is totally pathetic from both sides but the Republican continued funding everything by taking a swipe At the Affordable Care Act is more than pathetic.
I think, the solution is simple.... they vote for the extension and then pass the funding issue to the Budget committee and let the funding be resolved by the reconciliation process therein, via adjusted appropriations.
Or the stupidity just gets worse and democrats fund it via more defense cuts.
= Kids playing on a merry go round and never mind the people. Do your jobs find a compromise with which both sides can live.
