Veep contenders to make the rounds on Romney's bus tour

(CNN) - A host of vice presidential contenders will hit the trail with Mitt Romney on his five-day, multi-state bus trip in the next week.

As Romney starts out in Stratham, New Hampshire on Friday, he'll appear with Sen. Kelly Ayotte, a popular Republican freshman senator who campaigned heavily for Romney in the Granite State during the primaries.

Former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty will also accompany Romney on Friday in New Hampshire, as well as to stops in Pennsylvania on Saturday.

On Sunday, Ohio Sen. Rob Portman is slated to travel with Romney at all three stops in the Ohio leg of the presumptive GOP nominee's bus tour.

Rep. Paul Ryan, meanwhile, will be at Romney's Monday morning event in Janesville, Wisconsin–the hometown of the GOP star and chairman of the House Budget Committee.

And while not rumored to be a veep contender, House Speaker John Boehner will make his first campaign appearance with Romney this weekend. The speaker will join the candidate on Sunday in the city of Troy, Ohio, which is located in Boehner's district.

Along with Ohio, Wisconsin, and New Hampshire, Romney will also stop in Pennsylvania, Iowa, and Michigan. All states represent crucial battleground territory for the November election.

Yes traffic will be a mess near Scammon Farm Tuesday morning. Should start saying no to the VEEP speculation; she's not ready yet. Could be after a second term, but not now.

Willards' bus circled the Presidents event today, (250) MILES AWAY FROM Mitt ) honked the horn and heckled the Obama supporters waiting for the Presidents arrival. Romney clearly is not ready for the Presidency at this time with this grammer school behavior.

love the signs the Republicans put up that say "Country First"..what it should say is "Country First AFTER we win the Whitehouse" until then don't expect the GOP to do ANYTHING to help get jobs or the economy moving forward.

@BEND: Maybe Obama can rent the bus to get back to Chicago after Romney is done with it and moves into the Whitehouse in January?
Well, the people of America do not always perform as expected. I remember them unaccountably voting Bush in for a second term, which was something I could not comprehend. It still boggles my mind, given how much more damage he did to the country in his second term. I just hope the country knows enough not to give Bush a third term through his clone, Flip Rob-money.

BTW, BEND, your name speaks of 4 long years of failure. You got it wrong. It was 8 years that Bush was in the White House.
