Fast and Furious' offer may not stop contempt vote, Issa says

Washington (CNN) - A new offer of Justice Department records from a botched gun investigation might not be enough to stop a motion to cite Attorney General Eric Holder for contempt of Congress, a House committee chairman said Monday.

Holder and Rep. Darrell Issa, R-California, are scheduled to meet Tuesday afternoon to discuss Issa's demand for more documents relating to "Operation Fast and Furious," a federal firearms investigation that allowed hundreds of guns to reach Mexican drug gangs. Issa is the chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.

How many of you know that Rep. Darrell Issa is the wealthiest politician in the Congress?
With his $800 million, he's the second richest US politician behind NYC Mayor Bloomberg.

Cite Holder and arrest him. Charge him with being an accessory to murder before and after the fact. He's already lied to Congress, he's incompetent and somebody paid for his incompetence with their life. Now he's engaged in a cover up and it has been going on for nearly two years. Enough is enough.

So Holder and Obama don't believe in Transparency? Isn't Holder part of the Obama team? I knew Democrats would find a way to weasel out of Transparency.

Leave it to you to introduce completely irrelevant information to this subject. If this were a Republican administration, I'd bet you would be singing a different tune.

Under Bush, Operation Wide Receiver lost enough weapons that should have caused Alberto Gonzales to be jailed.

Thanks for recognizing the truth behind more words. If this were a Republican administration, I would not be singing a different tune. Rep. Issa would likely still be the wealthiest member of Congress, and he would still be trumping up charges against liberals and Democrats.

Gov. Scott Walker lied to Congress. There's even video taped proof of it. Investigate him, Issa.

Oh, and he's playing there game. Not that it's "RIGHT" but it's fair. Don't change the rules now since he has the winning hand. Repub's you should fold...this Admin. has a Full House! What about those Oversea's accounts and the 2011 tax returnes? It's a NEW DAY for ALL AMERICANS...Forward is the better choice not Mitt's backward ideals. P.S. Money can't buy nor win or better yet steal this election. No Ma'am Pam, No Sir...cause you all fooled "US" once...not a second time!

Darrell Issa postponed the hearings, why. Because Darrell Issa neglected his duty in charging Dick Cheney, et al for the outing of Valerie Plane and for the lie about WMD's in Iraq that was told by George W. Bush. Darrell Issa is the one who should turn in his resignation and be disbarred.

Unbelievable. A dead US Border patrol officer is far from a trumped up charge. Rudy, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Darrell Issa once again proves that wealth can't buy you a heart or class.

@Obama – Protecting the rights of ILLEGAL ALIENS to invade our country while SUING states to make sure they can vote as well.

It's unfortunate when anybody is killed by legally or illegally bought weapons from the US and sold to cartels !

One US Border Patrol Officer was killed , shouldn't have happened . Yet how many soldgers were killed or wounded looking for WMDs in Iraq ?

If your going to weaigh your meat , balance your scale first !
