Bias against Mormon presidential candidate unchanged since 1967, poll finds

(CNN) – Bias against a Mormon presidential candidate hasn’t budged in 45 years, with 18% of Americans saying they would not vote for a well-qualified candidate who happened to be Mormon, according to a Gallup Poll released Thursday.

The survey points up potential challenges for presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, who is vying to be the first Mormon in the White House.

Read Jon Kralauers book "The Banner of Heaven" or Carolyn jessups book "Escape" for a realistic look at the founding of Mormonism , its corrupt and downright nutty leaders who were nothing but con men, its terrible history in treating blacks and women as chattel (and it continues today),the rape and abuse of young girls, the dictatorial powers Mormon leaders have over practicing Mormons, and the large number of Mormon nuts in the fringes of the LDS church. Mormonism is a cult with an iron grip on its adherents-they try to appear normal, like Romney, but deep down, if they believe in the tenants of the church, they are bigoted and their minds are so warped and downright dangerous none of them should ever be considered for President.
