(CNN) - Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice on Tuesday shot down speculation that she could appear on the GOP presidential ticket with Mitt Romney.
"I didn't run for student council president. I don't see myself in any way in elected office. I love policy. I'm not particularly fond of politics," she said on CBS's "This Morning."

While the former Bush official had largely stayed out of the 2012 race this year, Rice made a speech at a retreat for Romney supporters and donors this weekend in Utah, a little less than a month after she endorsed the presumptive GOP nominee.
She also hosted her first Washington fund-raiser Monday night in support of ShePAC, a super PAC dedicated to helping women running for office.
But despite her recent political forays, Rice forcefully closed the door on a potential gig as Romney's vice presidential pick, saying she simply was not interested.
"I'm saying there is no way that I will do this, because it's really not me. I know my strengths, and Gov. Romney needs to find someone who wants to run with him," Rice said, adding she'll support his decision.
Pressed on whether she would turn down an offer, Rice argued it was a hypothetical situation unlikely to come true.
"It's not going to happen," she said.

I cannot imagine anyone would want to be on Mittens' ticket. He has been wrong on immigration, health reform, the auto bailout, foreign policy, supporting the Ryan plan, job creation, tax cuts for the wealthy, college loans, the national debt, and regulations on Wall Street.
she should, she and mittens lie so much
It comes as some relief to know that this war criminal, part of the Bush crime family, will not have a shot at the White House. When you think of Condi, think of the thousands dead in Iraq and Afghanistan, put there in part by the "policies" she so loves. Policies like outright lies about WMD and Saddam's links to Al Qaida.
Mittens should choose Scalia, as he seems to be more interested in attacking the president than interpreting the law.

Does ShePAC ONLY advocate for "conservative" women?....who vote against their own interests in the name of conservatism? Maybe they'd like to have probes in their privates, or get harrassed at clinics when they go in for a simple test? Maybe they're OK with making less than their male counterparts for equal work? If so, good for them. The Borg collective needs mindless female drones too
Bet if there was a 1st tier or even a 2nd tier candidate winning the Republican nomination she would have said yes. Too bad the party didn't run any except for Huntsman.
When all vote please consider this. Who is for you and who is not? Unfit Mit is not for you and the GOP is not. Over the last three years we have watch the performance of the GOP and it tells a story that they don't care about us. I don't care if you don't like the President because of his skin color, but you better believe he is the right one for today. You know I don't like my boss at work, but I have to work. That is not a reason This is serious business and if you want the country to be run by Corp., vote for Mitt who is Unfit. If you want the country to be run by the people vote for OBAMA.
If Rice does not want to be the VP on a losing ticket, like Palin, she made the right decision.
I think this would be a bad move for Romney. She could probably grill Biden on foreign policy in a debate, but she'd be too connected to a lot of our current problems via the Bush administration.
So far, nobody wants to run on the republican bafoon party losing ticket with romney the clown ,It's like runing with bush ,because romnycare has the same advisors such as rove and rover nitwitquest,so who wants to go back to that?? Only the stupid and brain dead !!!
What an insult to pick Rice after Sarah Palin.
She would have beena good choice, unlike Obama she is smart andf intelligent. We really need to vote Obama out. Since he has taken office, this countrys credit rating has declined, unemployment is still up over 8%, our national debt has increased, housing industry is shot. Now he does a disservice to the good people of Arizona and this country,, by refusing to enforce federal immigration laws. Obama needs the illegal vote to win, he cannot get enough votes from other .
Please vite for Romney 2012and 2016 to return this country to greatness

Does ShePAC ONLY advocate for "conservative" women?....
-------
Does NOW only advocate for "liberal" women?
Whoever Romney picks will go up against Biden in a debate , Biden is a seasoned , experienced , and tough opponent in a debate , That could be why Romney is waiting so long to make his pick ,
Romney is relying on that $ Billion to buy the Presidency also .
The electoral college says "no way" to Condi the war criminal, too.
Thanks for playing though.
She would be far better as VP than Crazy Joe but nobody is seriously considering her for VP. Just more news that isn't news.
Why do they always say no , when they mean yes ?
Romney / Rice
Thats do it again 2012 ?

Interesting post you make. Here is an article about a Republican star who happens to be an African American woman most of us would support on the 2012 ticket yet you still claim we don't like Obama because of his skin color. Tree, America is better than that. In fact he's a good guy who just got put in the wrong job at the wrong time. It happens all the time. The answer though, is not to put him back in and see if the same stuff works this time. The answer is to get the right guy and put him in because of his qualifications, his vision forward and his strong values. Romney 2012.
Like Romney, Condi has absolutely no credibility. She, along with Bush, ignored the warnings that Bin Laden was going to attack inside the US, and the rest is history.
