Polls: Romney, Obama nearly even in three key states
(CNN) - New polls released Thursday indicate President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney are essentially tied in three battleground states for the presidential race.
The president holds a slight advantage over his Republican rival in Michigan and North Carolina while polling dead-even with Romney in New Hampshire, according to the new NBC-Marist surveys. All three states' results fall within the sampling error for their respective polls.

In Romney's native state of Michigan, he's slightly edged out by Obama, 43% to the president's 47%. While CNN's Electoral Map rates Michigan as leaning towards Obama, Romney included the state in his recent bus tour, suggesting he sees it in play for the fall.
In North Carolina, Obama holds a two-point margin over Romney, 46% to 44%. CNN also rates the state as leaning towards Romney, though Obama narrowly carried it in 2008.
In New Hampshire, which CNN rates as a toss-up, Obama and Romney both stand at 45% support among voters, according to the new poll.
Romney, who once served as governor of neighboring Massachusetts, campaigned heavily in the Granite State and won its presidential primary by a landslide earlier this year. Obama, however, won New Hampshire in 2008.
The NBC-Marist polls were conducted by telephone with 1,078 registered voters in Michigan with a sampling error of plus or minus 3 percentage points, 1,029 registered voters in New Hampshire with a sampling error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points, and 1,019 registered voters in North Carolina with a sampling error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.

Obama and the democrat congress reduced the deficit by 8.6% in fiscal year 2010 from 1.4 to 1.3 trillion. Source: Congressional Budget Office (search "cbo doc11936" for proof). Republican policies: Failed ‘trickle down’ policies, reckless deregulations with no oversight, allowing Wall Street to concoct Ponzi schemes, the unnecessary Iraq War, tax breaks for rich/millionaires, subsidies for oil companies, unpaid prescriptions plans, etc. slowest job growth in over 50 years. Bush left Obama with a shattered economy, a trillion dollar DEFICIT, and two unfunded wars. If you smash a window and wait 2 weeks for someone else to clean it up, that period of time doesn't erase the fact that you smashed it to begin with. . . . . .When President Obama took office the country was losing approx 800,000 jobs per month, and the Obama Administration turned the job deficit into a job SURPLUS adding more jobs each month. Further, he pledged his allegiance to Grover Norquist (NOT to U.S. citizens) by signing Norquist’s pledge, and 17 out of 25 of Romney‘s close advisors‘ are from the Bush/Cheney team – Republicans, Democrats, and Independents, would be masochists/insane to take the U.S down the DISASTROUS Bush/Cheney path AGAIN – Voters should vote these Obstructionists Republicans (with their failed policies) out of office.
The polls are already obsolete. Romney just gained at least 5% in all states thanks to the USSC ruling on Obamacare. Roberts just decided the election for Romney. And all without recount challenges! The guy is a bloody GENIUS!!
These polls mean absolutely NOTHING unless you include the choice of Ron Paul. You know as well as we do that if you included him, the true results would be an embarrassment to CNN and Obamney. If you think Romney is going to do anything different than Obama, you're sorely mistaken. They are one and the same (except for ethnic background). Romney is not a leader, but a traitor to what our country holds dear in its Constitution.
Curious to see how independents could vote for a man who flip-flops on every issue – even on the healthcare idea he originally created! He offers no specifics on his vision except his willingness to support the Ryan Budget and trash Medicare and Social Security. Other than those items (to hurt senior citizens) he's simply "against" everything.
Does Romney believe the planet kolob will have an electoral vote ? Isn't it bad enough Utah the theocracy has an electoral vote.
God help us if Romney wins! He says whatever he needs to say regardless that that moment if he means it or not. I honestly do not thnk this man has a clue.

Obama is leading simple
these polls are useless and really depends on which poll you choose to look at. About a week or so ago there was a poll showing Obama with a huge lead over Romney in NH...now one shows they are almost tied. Two weeks ago Romney was leading in Florida, now Obama is leading. I'll say again the only poll that really matters is the lever you pull in November.

Obama promised a 50% reduction of the federal deficit. Which means he was off – WAY off.
The only mistake on PPACA that Obama made was not holing out for the Single payer system as the option.
If this SCOTUS decision or the Arizona case(s) benefit anyone electorally its democrats and the president.

This decision puts President Obama right where he belongs in the W/H and conferms is re-election totally.This is a President who truely cares about the american people and their health.Pres.Obama and his wife are wonderful people and they both deserve to be commended and respected for their tough fight against all odds of dis-respect and raceism and demonizing.Finally the people have realizied that what the President said back in 2007 that he would defend the middle class & poor to his best ability and all the promises he made are comming true and will continue for the next 4 years as they should.

If you wish to particpate in public life, doing things like going to public hospitals, then you need health insurance.
If you do not wish to participate in public life, and want to home school your kids in an underground bunker, then you don't need to buy any health insurance. You have a choice. You can be a part of society, or you can go make your own rules and live on Walton Mountain.
