Before we go A-to-Z with pros and cons, let's start with why Romney's team might have floated the Condi trial balloon now.

This whole Condeleeza Rice for VP is just a distraction to try and divert attention from the Bain situation and some of the media fell for it. Shame on you.

The pro, one only, she is no AK bimbo.
The con, and it only takes one, she will be reminding everyone that she was a staff member of the man who ruined the country, was instrumental in most of us losing our 401ks and lied about going to war with Iraq among so many other things wrong with the criminal war administration of #43.

These guys aren't really considering her they just want to create some press and divert the attention away from his tax return thing and the Bain stuff. He ran for office and the Bain thing was a thorn on his side twice once against' Kennedy and then when he became Governor. So its' plausible he distanced himself from the company because it essentially cost him the election once. Its odd to say the guy is CEO on paper but some one else is really running things, at any rate next week he will say he is picking an Asian Woman to get attention away from the some other scandal that seems to be his ace in the hole. Rubio, Condi, can't wait see what other ethnicity he'll pick next

Personally, at the very top down view I think she would be a good choice and do not buy into her mildly pro life and Bush admin Iraq war are relevant no no's to voters today. The tea partiers of course would not be happy but the majority of the party would and she is an excellent prop to Romney on Foreign policy where he has put his foot in his mouth too often for his own or campaign good.
