Jindal campaigns for Romney Wednesday in Ohio

(CNN) – As presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney stumps in Ohio Wednesday, one of his top surrogates will be campaigning on his behalf about 120 miles away from the candidate's event.

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal will hold an event in Columbus Wednesday afternoon. Romney, meanwhile, will hold a town hall in Bowling Green and a fund-raiser in Canton.

Jindal is widely speculated to be on a list of potential vice presidential choices for Romney.

Romney's campaign says Jindal will take part in a tour and business roundtable at the headquarters of the fast food chain White Castle around 3pm. He then goes to the Romney campaign office to meet campaign workers and hold a "Repeal and Replace" rally. He will also attend a fund-raiser for U.S. Senate candidate Josh Mandel.

On Monday, President Barack Obama traveled to Cincinnati for the first town hall of his 2012 presidential campaign, taking questions and hitting Romney for his economic plan and business background.

Vice President Joe Biden will make the trip to the state Thursday to embark upon the "Made in Ohio Manufacturing Tour," beginning with an event at the Plumbers & Pipefitter Local Union in Columbus. The visit is meant to "highlight the impact of President Obama's efforts to strengthen Ohio's manufacturing industry and bolster middle-class security for Ohio's workers," according to a release from Obama's campaign.

Ohio, classified a "toss up" on CNN's Electoral Map, carries 18 electoral votes in November's general election.

Romney really needs to stop the whinning & release his tax returns. No VP is going to matter. The only reason he will not release his complete tax returns is that he has something to hide... to conceal from 200-million US Citizens. And if Romney is taking that approach, he is totally incompetent to be President.

Sniffit - Hey, genius, what he meant was that sane governance recognizes that hiring employees to work for the government in some useful capacity...even if it's just laying roads or fixing bridges...helps keep more people emplyed and able to afford their living expenses and therefore contributing to the economy and demand, which in turn helps stabilize the economy and demand and helps us survive a recession. Denying it is no good because the historical record supports this kind of Keynesian approach across the board.
So the role of government is to employ every unemployed person to ensure that people never hit a bump on the road of life? So you think taking a bunch of unemployed office workers and store clerks and having them fix bridges is a plan?? A pretty nutty plan but a plan I guess. But you fail to disclose exactly where the trillions of dollars will come from to employ these millions of people.

Honestly, this BS didn't work in the 30's and doesn't work now. You are living in some 80 year old time warp fantasy, just like Obama. BTW, the debt hole is almost completely dug at this point so you can't use the chinese credit card to finance your fantasy.

Obambi has just made the "Gaffe of the Century" by saying successful businesses are only successful due to Government (Obama)......I am sick of paying taxes so people like Sniffit, Horse Badorties, Wire Palladin, Tom Paine, Harvard Elitist & Lib can sit on thier Liberal, fat Democrat butts, blog for the DMC and do NOTTA while waiting and depending on Welfare, paid for by those of us who do work.......One day YOU who refuse to work and demand to take the property and wealth which belongs to another...(regardless of HOW we obtained it) will stand before a Thrice Holy God and give account for what you have done or have failed to do; ......""If any would not work, neither should he eat." II Thess. 3:10b.....However, I must keep reminding myself, most Liberals are far too inteligent to believe that God and the Bible are REAL! I know now why Obama is so very angry these days; he is upset that God is not crediting him (Obama) for all he (Obama) has done for Him!

If something happened to Romney as president (not that this will happen, anyway), do we want an Indian boy as President? Don't think so!

Now this guy Jindal was born in India, his mother was visiting India and her plane landed on U.S. soil just in time for his birth. Balony.

I see you love playing the game of intentionally misconstruing peoples' arguments and turning them into silly-sounding hyperbolic exaggerations of themselves in order to create some sense of a slippery slope and characterize the other person's argument as extrememe. Get back to me when you've decided to be serious.

Glad I don't have to enter the state of Ohio, for any reason, but specifically not to listen to this kind of bunk.
