Romney walks political tightrope on foreign policy
Washington (CNN) - Mitt Romney's political tightrope in his quest for the presidency has been especially evident on foreign policy, with the certain Republican nominee sounding conservative while also espousing more moderate approaches similar to his opponent, President Barack Obama.
Facing opinion polls that show more public support for Obama on foreign policy, Romney has constantly criticized what he calls the president's failure to lead on international issues such as the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Iran's nuclear ambitions and Syria.

Romney wants to continue with the same failed Bush policies of the past. Never ending wars not paid for in the name of Freedom whatever that is supposed to mean. Mitt this is not the 1950's the world has changed. Romney and the GOP haven't got a clue about foreign policy. They are stuck in the past fighting yesterday's battles in today's times. America cannot go it alone. it needs allies something mitt and the GOP do not understand......

He will get his middle east foreign policy orders next week when he kisses Netanyahu's ring.

Romney has no foreign policy experience. Obama's administration took out Osama, that alone is more experience than Romney will ever have. War cost government money,this is the big govt. money Romney is against yet so desperately wants to spend. No more wars. The only reason Romney is defending that side is for his friend and their connects.The last thing we need is a religious war started by a Morman!

How can you "walk a tight rope"? Because it sounds so much better than "walking on thin ice," which is what Romney will be doing.
It is interesting to note that Romney has chosen not to visit either, Iraq or Afghanistan. I hope Romney meets up with some of the Russians in London for the Olympic Games. That should be an interesting encounter. Romney appears to be staying with "safe" havens on this trip. I note that he treats his money the same way.

if you want more war then vote this guy in the White House come November. He will probably change the withdraw date to the Afghan war, he was against the withdraw anyway, and there is still Iran to bomb and probably Syria. Yet NONE of his sons have ever served in the military but he would have no problem asking YOURS to go. He wants no military cuts because if he is in there we will need MORE military.

Going there and actually learning something are two different things. Romney's long trail of success stories shows he studied and learned while at Harvard. Obama on the other hand has proven he was more interested in smoking pot and snorting cocaine. He even admits it in his book. Obama is just a load. I'm sure he's been given quite a bit over the years because of his great ability to sell snake oil. But when it actually gets down to getting things done, he's totally incompetent.
