Warsaw, Poland (CNN) - The traveling press secretary for Mitt Romney lost his cool and cursed at reporters who attempted to ask questions of the Republican presidential candidate in a public plaza near the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Warsaw Tuesday.
After Romney paid his respects to Poland's war dead and shook hands with a small gathering of the nation's military veterans, the GOP contender walked approximately 100 yards away from the memorial as he chatted with Warsaw's mayor.

As Romney made his way to his vehicle, reporters attempted to shout questions to the candidate. The former Massachusetts governor, who has answered only three questions from his traveling press corps during a week-long overseas trip, ignored the queries. Romney did sit down for multiple interviews during his foreign swing, including with CNN's Piers Morgan and Wolf Blitzer. Romney also spoke with NBC News, CBS News, ABC News and Fox News during his trip.
When members of the press tried to ask Romney about some of the mishaps on his trip, his traveling press secretary Rick Gorka verbally dressed down reporters.
Here's a transcript of the questions and Gorka's response:
CNN: "Governor Romney are you concerned about some of the mishaps of your trip?
NYT: "Governor Romney do you have a statement for the Palestinians?
Washington Post: "What about your gaffes?
NYT: "Governor Romney do you feel that your gaffes have overshadowed your foreign trip?"
CNN: "Governor Romney just a few questions sir, you haven't taken but three questions on this trip from the press!
Gorka: "Show some respect"
NYT: "We haven't had another chance to ask a question..."
Gorka: "Kiss my ass. This is a Holy site for the Polish people. Show some respect."
Moments later, Gorka told Jonathan Martin, a reporter for Politico, to "shove it." About a half-hour later, the aide called reporters to apologize.
Gorka's comments to the media came just hours before Romney's foreign policy speech in Warsaw.
Aides to the GOP candidate say Romney visited Poland to highlight the nation's growing economy and honor its contributions to the war in Afghanistan.

Ah, Willard, you never fail to entertain.
Good for you Mr. Gorka. I would have handled the situation with a little more tact. However, it's also time that the lame stream media got a little medicine of their own. Most if NOT ALL the inquiring media are in bed and "Bending Forward" (with or without Vaseline) for Mr. Obama. And, they seem to be "enjoying" every minute of it. Where are these same lame stream media stand with Mr. Obama's constant gaffs and lies, in the faces of the American voters, too?!
Just asking...
Funny, Romney was greeted to a huge Ron Paul banner 🙂 Tells you who the Poles really would like to see int he White House. I'm a Pole living int he US and I believe Romney will change absolutely nothing. It will be the continuation of the same policies of grandeur government, excessive military spending...just under a different party...
and you want my vote??? First he didn't want to acknowledge he is a bully, second he talks down on average American and middle class people, third he makes money by steeping over people, then he runs away with it.... Then he hides his taxes, now he surround himself with people who can insult others for him.... Mitt you are an arrogant man!!!! That's not wht America needs! I'm not saying Obama is or have all the solutions, but if we have to choose, then Arrogant people like Mitt shall not win!!!!
This story truly shows the narcissism of the press putting themselves into the story. You are supposed to report the news not interject yourself into it one more reason people don’t trust the media
Mitt and his gang showing all future candidates how to throw an election.
Oh hell!
That makes it three for three for Mitt the Twitt and his posse.
Game over.!
Do we have any parting gifts for this contestant? No? Well, goodbye then, and hey, thanks for playing!
I have a better headline: "Tempers Grow Short in Romney Camp as Romney Flunks International Audition."
You've got to be kidding me! Those are serious questions from reporters??? Look at everyone of those questions- they're nothing BUT cheap shots and the reporters don't care ANYTHING about getting Romney's response, only about piling on him.
Typical Republican family values. They dare to question a 1 percenter!
Three questions by the press corps on the whole trip?
Talk about not being ready to take on the real responsibilities of the presidency. Wow. Just wow.
And the walls come tumbling down...
I have a question for Gorka. Since when is it acceptable to say KMA in a 'Holy site'? Wow.
First of all, ole Ruinous Romney is no longer a governor. The press should refer to him as Mitt-Witt. Second, to paraphrase Nancy "turkeyneck" Pelosi, if Mitt's not going to answer questions (fork over his tax return) I guess we'll have to elect him "to find out what is in" him. Presidential politiks as usual.
Both parties should conduct themselves in a manner that reflects the importance of the role of President of the United States. This includes the candidates and the people working to help get them elected/reelected. It saddens me when politicians and their aides communicate in ways that are unintelligent. If language like this is being used in public, I can't imagine what's said behind closed doors.
Romney has answered only 3 questions, his aids cursing reporters at a holy site....and this group is criticizing the President on transparency. Why won't he answer questions what is Romney afraid of?
Apologize. . . to the paparazzi? Seriously. . . the the word twisters, the drege of what should be a news outlet.
Methinks thou does't protest too much!
IMHO, I wouldn't give most of these 'reporters' enough pee to take an aspirin with if they were dying of a headache.
How very representative of Mitt's campaign and of the man, himself; vindictive, disrespectful and arrogant. Apparently, the "little people" don't deserve to have their questions answered. Mitt was busy exploiting a "holy site" - the second one on the tour - for an advantage in a political campaign.
The real Mitt is starting to show, though. He's getting nastier and moer impatient. He "doesn't care" what the press runs on him. He made a point of mentioning Poland assisting The US in "our revolutionary war" which is clearly an F-U directed towards The UK because they didn't humbly endure his insults. We'll continue to see more of the real Mitt, as the pressure intensifies. Like his best pals Trump and Adelson, he's a narcissist who doesn't like to be questioned.
What is wrong with Romney and his minions? If that's the extent of the pressure they can wither, what kind of pressure does he expect as POTUS?
I had wondered why Der Mitt left the country at this time. After his gaffes in England and Israel, I now why he is out of the country. His handlers found that they had to shut down the animatronic simulacrum which they are using in this country for maintenance and the hair spray build up was becoming toxic. So, send the real Der Mitt out of the country. Doubt that it is the real Mitt? Mitt does and interview with Pierce Morgan, in which his hair looks like hell, you can tell that he is wearing a Dolly Parton wig. His handlers could not get enough hair spray overseas to hold down the hair. Then in Israel, he is wearing a Yalrmelka, in this country there is no possible way that yarmlekha, would stay on top of his head, the carbon fiber hair piece would not allow anything to sit on it, said object would simply slide off. The bad thing is that Der MittWhit's handlers forgot to turn of the "SPEAK", function before they sent him overseas. Mitt, how do you reconcile the position which your church holds towards the Jews with real life?? Immigration, check Mitt's paperwork when he tries to get back in, rumor holds that he may actually be an Illiegal Immigrant, his Vater was a Mexican.
Complete amateurs
I guess it's clear that Romney has as much respect for the press as he does for the people. I wonder if he was on his way to another high level fund raiser that he doesn't allow the press into, god knows what he's promising people behind closed doors but he obviously doesn't want us to know about it.
The arrogance and hautiness continues unabated. How dare you ask a question!
How about set up a conference with Romney, that is usually how its done, you don't disrespect another countrys shrines.
Just asking......why won't Romney take questions from the press? What is he hiding or afraid of answering? This guy is a fraud.....not at all ready for prime time!
