Study: Romney tax plan would shift burden to poor
New York (CNNMoney) - Mitt Romney's tax plan would provide large tax cuts to the very wealthy, while increasing the tax burden on the lower and middle classes, according to a study released Wednesday.
The report - produced by researchers at the Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center - illustrates just how difficult it would be to recoup government revenue lost under Romney's plan.

EXCUSE Me! I feel certain that there has been a gross mistake here. Romney woulkd never make such an error – if de he would unequivicably deny it and all would be better, and we would all be wrong because he would never be wrong – right?. Shame on this organization for pretending to know more about taxes than this filthy rich arrogant baboon. I'm sure his plan would cost hime and his frugal wife more money becuase he loves America and all it's poordowntroden people more than he loves himself – Right?

We cannot trust the report from Urban Brookings Tax Policy Center because it is a Democrat organization, its president is Strobe Talbott, a Democrat and friends of the Clintons. Any study, report this organization produces will favor Democrats and President Obama, especially now that it is an election year. We cannot trust their study as it is not independent.

Actually, what they're doing is pretty sophisticated economic modeling taking into account current fiscal and budgetary policies and data regarding the trajectory of the economy and demographics like the distribution of the popualtions's salaries, income, investments, etc. But that's ok...you keep telling yourself that these people don't know what they're talking about just because they're highly educated experts who are saying something you don't want to hear. Lord knows that even if they're right and your taxes go up, you'll still blame it on Obama so you can sleep at night dreaming of magic trickle down unicorn farts and reaganomic double rainbows....woooooooooah....double rainbooooowwwww......

Willard also please inform the rest of the population known as "you people" how we can grow our IRAs into million dollars despite rules that limit us to contributions of $4k a year.

what I would like to hear is one of these soft ball interviewers to actually ask Mitt if this is TRUE and see how he defends it. I think I know of some newscasters that would have no problem asking him this question thought I doubt very seriously if he would even go on their shows.
His:
– expertise (not one needed to change the economy)
– plan
– secrecy
– bullying
– stiffness
– lack of communicating
– untrustworthy
– biased to the rich
– problem on his tax issue
are what people are not fond of, hence will not cast their vote to him.

That's a regressive tax system that places more burden on the shoulders of the middle-class and poor actually. Flat taxes have been shown to do that across the board. Sure, they "seem" fair on the surface, but the result is that they weigh down those who can least afford them most.
Surprise, surprise. Just another reason in a LONG list of reasons to vote for President Obama

We and there you have it Mr. aand Mrs. America- to keep giving people like Mr. Romney even more generous tax cuts (that he can off-shore and dodge taxes on), you'll just have to dig a little deeper. Buy less food, put off that medical check-up, drive on those bald tires a little longer, don't buy your kids back-to-school clothes.
Remember this moment- it is when Republicans declared open warfare on the middle class and poor so that they could help those poor rich people (the ones who apparently don't make jobs).

I agree that everyone SHOULD know this by now, but some don't pay enough attention, and even though it would be harmful to those very same people, they continue to vote for anyone who has an R by their name. A lot of them are the working class so you would think they would pay more attention. His tax and budget plans would tell them, but a lot of them listen only to FOX so they just believe everything that is said on that network even though a good many of us know that that network is not news really, but a right-wing propaganda machine!!!
I think the author of this piece should to do more research into an article before writing it. "Taxing the poor" is he serious? Half the poor are unemployed and the other half is on the gov't dole, so they don't even pay tax. Sounds like another CNN shill for this socialist loser of a president we have, who doesn't have the first clue about how our economy functions. His economic policies are a failure, his domestic policies are a failure, yet this liberal media bias treats him like everything is doing fine.They refuse to confront him on the economy, jobs and his refusal to uphold the laws of the land( Constitution).
